Band width runs smaller on this Wacoal bra than others I have bought in the past. Fortunately Wacoal makes this bra in a 44. I would have given this bra five stars but for the band width being so small for a 42. Overall the fit is excellent. I have been wearing these bras for 10 years or so and just discovered your site. I was happy with the price and speed of service, but the sizes are correct one is much more comfortable than the other...who knows why. I gave up on wired bras many years ago because they were so uncomfortable. As time went on, there was just not enough support for me so I went into a bra store and tried on many. Finally, this one, and I bought one. I loved it and looked on line at HerRoom to find other colors. I now have all the colors and will never own another bra. It is my second style of Wacoal, and find them true to size. But the professional fitting is key. june from thousand oaks

Bra provides great support all around. Although this bra has the padding for the straps, it reached only to the top of your shoulder. It would be great to have the padding of the bra straps goes pass the top of your shoulder so that the comfort being provided is truly offered by the padded straps.

I really like this bra. It's quite comfortable, pretty, supportive and actually minimizes a bit. I do agree with some other reviewers that this style seems to run a bit small in the band. I discussed this with a fitter at Macy's who agreed that this has been her experience, as well. I usually wear a 38D in almost every bra I try, but with this style I had to size up on the band. I was fitted for this bra at Saks about two months after breast reduction surgery. This is my second, one in black and one in nude. It has excellent support and good coverage which I still need. However, the cups are shallow and while every other bra I have bought is a 38C, I needed this in a 38D. Despite the ensuing psychological damage from having to buy a D cup, this is the most comfortable bra I have and I recommend it highly. Worth the money, don't think twice. Just buy a bigger cup if you think you need one and then try not to think about it. MB from Ohio

I just received this bra and I am disappointed. It hurts me under the rib cage as so many underwire bras do. I don't think it is worth the big price, seemed no better than less expensive bras. I purchased an Anita style 5490 and it seems to fill much better. P from Dallas, TX
