I ordered this bra because the reviews were very good and I thought it would be very supportive, however the cups gaped on me even though I ordered 34DD, which is my normal size, so I returned it in favor of the "Halo strapless'.

Wacoal Response: The Red Carpet Strapless is one of the top selling strapless bras. Some women experience being a different size in a strapless. The cups on this style are full cups. This helps prevent a line that may show through the outer garment. The Halo Lace strapless is a great style as well. If you find you are needing a contour strapless in the future we would suggest you try Wacoal The Red Carpet Full-Busted Strapless Bra 854119. The cups may be conducive for your petite frame and bust. Hazel from Tolleson, Az. usa

OK . . . so this is the first time I have ever written a bra review. But I can't help. I just had to tell the world. About. This. Amazing. Bra. You know that corny diamond commercial with the guy shouting, "I love this woman!" I would literally like to run out in the street and do that right now - about this bra. I'm one of those chicks that 'developed' really young. And I guess I just have poor elasticity in my skin - because my 'girls' sagged as soon as they came in. Not joking. And I had stretch marks as soon as they appeared to. I was NEVER able to wear anything strapless without a cardigan or shawl because I could NEVER find a strapless bra that gave me actual support and lift. Instead I would either have cleavage as long as a pencil or my chest would be bound with my tatas squished under my arm pits. Not so with this bra. I read all the previous reviews - and I was still prepared to be disappointed. This thing makes my 38DDD's look like God intended. Full, projected, perky and gravity defying. I put on a strapless maxi dress - sans cardigan and I could barely tear myself away from the mirror. It feels so weird having a bra on - without feeling straps on my shoulders. I feel like a newborn. I'm serious. But I've rambled long enough. Buy this bra. It will change your life. Denise B from Marietta, Ga

I am very pleased with this bra. It is very comfortable, very attractive, an sits on the body where it should. I had to send a 40C back for a 42D, but the fit was great once I got it. I would like to buy it in the other color. Angie from Denver, CO USA

While I haven't worn this for more than two minutes to check if it fits (therefore cannot say if it stays up or is comfortable), I have to say this is the best fitting strapless bra I have ever tried on, especially for my larger breasts. I have heard so many good things about Wacoal, just never tried due to price. I broke down and I am glad I did. Will have to update review when I wear it out. :) Robin from Allen, TX

The bra is a great fit but the material is uncomfortable I am hoping after I wash it that it will be fine but I will wear it regardless the fit is great for large busted women that need a strapless bra. Dee from USA

I've been searching for a new strapless bra to wear for the summer with maxi dresses. Most strapless bras slide down and don't provide enough coverage for my "pendulus" girls. I need lift, shaping, and support. Usually I have issues with the side boning poking & chafing my ribs and with the bra sliding down. With this bra, the only discomfort I had was in the front with the underwires putting pressure on my breastbone. Otherwise, it stayed put and there was NO poking or chafing whatsoever! Overall, the discomfort is a small price to pay for the security, coverage, and support this bra provides. If I stand up straight (as I should) the pressure & discomfort lessens. Otherwise, a great find and I will likely order black as well. Shipping was lightning quick. I definitely plan to order again from herroom :-) Tereasa from Buffalo, NY USA

I bought this for my daughter to wear with a prom dress so the height/weight/age is hers. The bra had to fit well so she'd feel secure dancing. We looked everywhere and couldn't find either her size or a good fitting garment. She will often complain about the cups pushing her breasts out to the sides or being oddly shaped. She absolutely loved this strapless bra -- it was very supportive, had a really natural shape and fit true to size. It was also low enough for the dress but high enough for good coverage. I ordered this strapless for my daughter who is a dancer. We are looking for a strapless bra that minimizes and prevents bouncing during performances. This bra has too much of a molded cup and it's definitely a push up bra. The picture makes it look like it's somewhat flattening. My daughter's bra size is 30D which is not a big breast size. This bra was tight around but not very comfortable and did not flatten but pushed upward. I finally found ONE minimizing strapless bra and my daughter will give that one a try. The bras currently for dancers, and my daughter has tried them all, are horrible. Cheaply made, flimsy, not supportive at all, and are not well hidden for performances. It would be very lucrative for Her Room or another company to create a line of quality dance bras and leotards with supportive and flattening built in bras. No company out there is making good bras for dancers that are supportive but are hidden. I'm sure this bra would be great underneath a shirt or a dress but if you are a dancer looking for a minimizing strapless bra, this is not the bra for you. It's ridiculous that dancers feel like, and they have been told by teachers, to tape their breasts down! Tape can be painful. The dance world, especially ballet, hate breasts and discriminate against girls that have breasts even small/average breasted dancers like my daughter. Joan from Bronx, NY, USA

I bought this for a wedding. I have had other strapless bras in the past, and none of them offered support or stayed in place like this bra, especially for a larger size. I even wore it to work for the entire day before my dress fitting, and it was as comfortable and as supportive as a normal bra with straps. The bra stayed in place for the entire wedding and throughout a long night of dancing. This is the best strapless bra I have found! Jen from Michigan

Not easy to find a strapless bra that can support my breasts without making them look weird, or without requiring high-cut dresses and tops to make sure the bra doesn't show. With this bra, I've finally found it - and I've been looking for over a year. I wore it recently to a wedding. My dress was princess cut in front with 1/2 inch wide straps that crossed in back. The bra didn't peek out at all. Also, I wore it from 2pm all the way until we finally went to bed at around 4am, without any pain or discomfort problems. I think I'm in love! Nora from WI
