This is a thick bra with foam padding - the kind that holds a shape even if no one is wearing it. I personally hate that kind of bra. The silhouette is very fake looking and it creates a ridge at the top that shows through clothing. I never actually wore it (returned it) because when I tried it on with my strapless outfits, it looked bad (the form showed through). It looked ugly.

I can't say enough good things about this bra and my shopping experience with HerRoom.com. I am a 32F and have always had a difficult time finding a strapless bra in this size. Wacoal's conversion is a 32DDD. It fits perfectly!! Awesome support and it doesn't make me look flat or pointy like most strapless bras do. The bra stays put (it passed the jump up and down, shake side to side test!) and provides a great shape under my shirts. The fabric is soft and comfortable. This is a beautiful strapless convertible bra. Perfect under one shoulder tops and strapless dresses. No show lines under thinner tops which is an issue for large breasted woman. This is the first strapless bra that I have found in my size (36DDD) that has given me good, long-lasting support and gives my girls a wonderful shape at the same time! I can wear it all day and it will not slip or ride down. It does start to rub a little near my underarm if I try to use it as an everyday bra with the straps but that is not what I bought it for and I am also VERY full and that could be part of the cause. This bra is wonderful! I really didn't think I'd ever find a strapless bra in my size that is so supportive, stays in place, doesn't hurt AND gives me a great shape, but this one does all of that!
