This bra is not really comfortable. The underwire feels very thick. I must say though that the girls have never been this high before! It is supportive and there is a lot of room for adjustment in the strap. I am 5' tall and have a short torso, so getting a bra that I can adjust properly is very important. This is a high quality bra, but not very comfortable so far. The lace chafes the sensitive skin on the breasts (at least for me), and worst of all, the part where lace meets satin makes you have a 1950s-style bra line under your clothes! It's very noticable, even under black. And, to top it off, I didn't notice a huge minimizing effect! It might be because I went a size up than I normally do (34DD instead of 34D) but that was because the 34D was way too tight and would be even more uncomfortable. Overall, I'm just not impressed, especially not with that very noticable seam right in the middle!

Wacoal Response: She bought the 85122 which is one of our top two minimizers - if she is bothered by the seam she should try Wacoal 85154 which is seamless. I would also bet that she needs to try the bra in size 36D- she said the 34 D did not work and that the 34 DD is still to tight---we think she needs a 36. Jennifer from Kansas City/MO

I am disappointed in this purchase especially since I consider the price high end. The cups fit perfectly but the wires on either side poke into my flesh and hurt by the end of the day.

I've been wearing this style for years in ivory and black. I love the new straps. The nude color, which I could never find in stores, works much better under white tops than the ivory. For the women having issues with the wires sticking up in front, just slide the wires back (toward the under arm) prior to putting the bra on and your problem is solved. I wear a 32D in my other Wacoal bras but I do not see that 32D is an option on this bra. What size should I get?

The center wires don't come anywhere near my sternum, and the center part is too high by several inches. From the photo, I had no idea that the bra is so high in the center. If I keep my back as stiff as a poker all the time, perhaps the center wires wouldn't protrude, but that is hardly realistic. With any movement at all, the wires protrude in the front (very ugly) and, based on my experience, with similar bras, would ruin sweaters and other fabrics by rubbing in that spot. The bra is comfortable, pretty and, if I stand like a store manniquin, looks fine under my clothes. The bra may be OK for people taller than 5'4". I'm sending it back.

HerRoom Response: Your symptom is a sure sign that your cups size is too small. You need to go up a cup size. Also, minimizers are the only bras where the center does not have to touch the sternum. However, your situation is one where the cups are too small. Lynne from Washington, DC

for the price i would have expected it to last a little longer than 6 months before coming apart - the material from one of the straps is beginning to separate. the fit also was also small, i measure a 37 around, ordered a 38 and somehow it was still tight. otherwise, this is better than most bras, but not 68 dollars great.

I have tried practically every bra out there and this is the only one I can wear. I give it 5 stars because I don't want it to be discontinued. I am very narrow across my chest and the cups on this bra are close enough together to fit properly but still offer separation. This bra gives the lift I need to actually see my waistline. Other bras don't give that and I just look 10 lbs. heavier. This bra is comfortable and supportive for large, heavy breasts that have seen better days. LOL My only disappointment is it shows under clingy knits and t-shirts a bit. It's also very high on the chest and the edges of the lace show above some of my necklines. I always have to wear a cami or extra t-shirt. Oh well... maybe clothing designers will get smarter and realize that not everyone is built like a super model. Majick
