I wanted this bra to work for me so bad. I love the style and look of it. But, this cup style just does not work with my shallow, small, slightly wide-set breast type. 30C size fits me in almost every bra, but in this one, I just am not the right shape to fill the center/top of the cups. For reference, I measure ~29" underbust and ~33"-34" bust.

Wacoal Response: This is a beautiful bra. But for someone who is shallow you may consider a contour bra. Contour bras help shape and even out the bust line. Wacoal Pure Couture Memory Foam Contour Bra or Wacoal Seduction Contour Bra would be my suggestions to you. The Pure Couture has a memory foam lining and beautiful deco design. The Seduction bra lining is made from a spacer fabric that is perfect for summer and very comfortable. Ginny from midwest, USA

This Wacoal bra is adorable! I absolutely fell in love with the retro styling and was tickled to find it came in my size as the other retro styled Wacoal bra does not. I ordered it in both colors in my normal Wacoal size, 32C. It does not fit like my other Wacoal bras, at all! I need lift to fill the cups in all of my bras but despite the lift this bra does provide, there isn't enough side support to lift and "direct" me where I need it most. Thus, there were gaps in the upper portion of the cup. I returned both bras and attempted to try the bras in a 32B, instead. Unfortunately, I had spillage but there were still gaps at the top! Peculiar! I think the cups need to be wider? The band fit perfectly but I'm set rather far apart. The quality of the bras is outstanding (which I have found to be typical for Wacoal), despite the odd fit! I am totally disappointed because the design of the bra is delightful. Herroom, as always, was wonderful with the exchanges. I now have Lunaire Seville bras instead (LOVE them!) and I'm considering a particular Alegro bra, as well. Wendy from Washington

Beware: If you are a lady whose breasts are fuller at the bottom than the top, this bra may not work for you as the top of the cups might tend to wrinkle and "flatten" you out even more. That was the problem I had, and the reason I returned it. I'm also on the thin side, and the underwires dug into my ribs in a most uncomfortable way. So disappointing, because it really is a beautiful, well-made bra and I would recommend it to anyone with the right shape who wants to add a little retro glamorous to their lingerie wardrobe. I love Wacoal bras! But this one was short in the sides under the armpit area which caused the underwire to poke n extra skin to over hang. I like the original retro design better but I love how the front area is lower so you can wear it with lower tops. Rhona from Fresno, ca USA
