Keeping this Hi-Cut Brief because of its good proportion, fit and wide waist band which make it comfortable. One of the few hi-cut briefs with a proportionate design that fits a body with an average or shorter waist to crotch length. Would give it a better rating if the crotch was cotton lined, but it's not. Would also give it a better rating if the fabric was a little thicker and had less stretch and more support, but it doesn't. Tracey from New Jersey

Wacoal hi cut briefs have been my favorite underwear since I discovered them a few years ago. The store I usually purchase them from seem to carry a slight variation on this style from Wacoal so I purchased on-line. I usually wear a medium but perhaps Wacoal has adjusted their sizing somewhat because mediums are a bit snug now and larges are a bit loose. No, I haven't gained any lbs, but now I think I will have to begin looking for a new brand or another style. Darn, I hate it when manufacturers/designers do that, especially to bras and panties. Even though the large was too big (I was looking for a little bit more room and this was just larger top to bottom), I find the elastic around the legs much too tight. I also don't like the fact that the crotch is the same material as the rest of the panty. My pantyliner won't stay on.

Wacoal Response: This person is mistaken on one feature of the pant---the crotch lining of the pant is 100% cotton. The pant is nylon. She might want to try the regular brief style #838175, some ladies find the leg not as confining. Nancy from Baltimore, MD

I love Wacoal, so I am biased. My favorites are the old satiny silky panties with lace on the side, like the Arabesque or the old Pure Inspiration or Romantic Inspiration panties. These are not as thin and silky, they are a little more clingy with lycra. They have a sheen to them so they are pretty. They feel more like a panty you would work out in or be comfortable in all day. Vickie from Kansas City
