I've worn these for years. Although they are tight when worn for the first time but become comfortable very quickly. They firm the ares of concern and my clothes slide on easily and fit better. An added bonus for me is that the fabric is soft, silky and cool. This is important when one needs to avoid rashes that can come with some other such garments that I've tried. I'm petite, though not thin, and these came up way too high on me.

Wacoal Response: This is a shape brief. It sounds like there is a little more pant here than you need. The waist on this pant is not designed as a "high waisted" pant but it is not a low waisted garment either and could be too high on a petite figure.
