I purchased the same panties I always buy, and the same size, but these were all higher waisted than my previous purchases by about an inch. I Was somewhat disappointed in my recent purchase. I loved the 15318 I purchased at a local store but since they are now discontinued I ordered from you. I ordered size 8. When they came it said 8 XL. That had me concerned because I didn't want XL. Tried on a pair and they were perfect. A perfect 8. Would be better if the company didn't add that XL. these were poorly constructed and very uncomfortable as a result. Perhaps they were not a quality type of underpants.

there is one problem. The elastic around the thigh opening has a sharp sawtooth type edge. This causes much discomfort and chafing on sensitive skin area with each step I take.

Vanity Fair Response: If you like Cotton fabrication, you may try style 15367 which is 100% Cotton and has a cuff leg opening and is covered with fabric instead of elastic, this style however has the scalloped waistband, we also have other styles that have soft waistbands and legs but are not 100% Cotton. I knew it was time to buy more underwear when I couldn't find a pair without all holes in. So, when I saw the VF were on sale at Penney's, and they actually had colors, I bought some. They fit very well (the waistband is actually at my waist for a change), and they seem to be holding up. But the local Penney's where I now live doesn't stock the blue or even pink, so here I am buying them online. Now if only VF would offer them in a nice flower print. Society gives women relentless messages about how, once we're past menopause, we're supposed to dress as though for our funeral, but I'm nowhere near dead yet, I hope, and if I'm still at heart the 12yo tomboy I once was, "ain't nobody's business but me own".
