Exactly what I wanted, 100% cotton briefs (hard to find these days in stores I go to). They're full briefs, coming up to my waist, as I'd hoped for. Very true to size. I also ordered size 8 briefs of another brand, which turned out to be the almost-to-the-waist kind that were also a bit tight (and I've never worn a size 9).
