Size 6 on black fit well--in white and tan, the fit was uncomfortably tight. Wonder why!

I bought these panties based on positive customer reviews. I had worn a different brand and style which had been discontinued so I had to find something else. I am pleased with the fit and feel of these and they do stay put. They are a heavier weight than my others and with the thicker hems, some panty lines are visible in some clothes. These briefs are similar to a pair I own and which fit comfortably. Unfortunately (although same manufacturer) the briefs I ordered were not comfortable. Although they are defined as "briefs," the style I ordered does not cover my entire waist area -- they are really too short in length to be "briefs." I ordered 4 pair of these underwear but it is not worth the expense to return them. This is the 2nd order I have not been satisifed with. My previous order was for Vanity Fair briefs - however because they were not high cut in the leg, the elastic cuts off the circulation in my upper thigh area. I love the soft fabric, but there is not enough elasticity in both the waist and legs for my body shape. This made for an uncomfortable fit. The panty keeps riding downward, and I found myself pulling and tugging to get them back up. Because I am a large woman, I need the larger size in order to cover the stomach area. I also found that the panty had too much fabric on the backside and not enough in the front for me. The excess fabric bunches up in the back near my waistline. I prefer the hi-cut panty, but I feel this is not a good one for a large woman (at least not for me). I love the Vanity Fair brand and am so happy to have found HerRoom on the internet. I have ordered other Vanity Fair panties, and I know I will eventually find the "perfect" panty for me. I am looking forward to making future purchases. I have finally fallen in love with a panty that fits me to a T. I just hope that this panty will remain on the market for some time.
