I really wanted to like this slip. However, regardless of the dress I wear over it, it twists around to the side and then bunches up. I've tried everything to keep this from happening, but having to safety pin your slip down the sides to your dress sort of negates the "ease" I am looking for. I've pretty much stopped wearing them. BTW, I bought four and it happens with all for of them. Unfortunately, I'd removed the tags from all of them before I realized this was a problem. Because of that, I would not recommend this item. Or order one and see what happens. I don't think my body is THAT misshapen! Patty from Alexandria, VA, USA

Very nice, basic slip to wear under slightly sheer dresses. The simplest one I could find - no significant trim or busy lace. Jaime from brooklyn, ny

At my height of 5 ft 2, the slip is a lot longer than I expected, and I'll end up hemming it. I wanted a full slip to wear with some dresses that ride up pretty short when I sit, and which cling to tights. It's my size, a 34- but it's overall a little big. I decided to keep it anyway, as it fits well enough. Very comfy and non restricting - size 32 was almost 20 yrs ago for me... Mary from Santa Maria CA

I am 4'11" and 120 lbs (size 2/4) and this slip fit great. The straps don't fall off my shoulders as others have reported and the slip hits about my knees. It's loose, almost like a dress, but it works for what I need. Very comfortable material - a great buy. I also had a wonderful experience with HerRoom. S from USA

Needed a slip for clingy knit dresses, and this is the one I'm keeping. I ordered two Vanity Fair slips. The other was too small in the hips. I wear 8-10 and the 34 in this slip is a good fit, so this cut is more generous in the hips than the picture illustrates. Laura from Pewaukee WI

Fabulous fabric! Love this as a chemise for sleeping in! Bought FOUR in size 38 and fit is fine (bra size is 40DD). Jeannie J from Issaquah

I like this slip a lot. It is for shorter skirts and dresses. Reversing the slip doesn't work well for me, since I am a 36 D or DD bra size, but I didn't need to reverse it anyway, so I am happy. I heeded the advice to get a smaller size than usual, and it worked, since I got a 36. I usually need a 38 in a slip, because of my large cup size. I wear size 10 and 12 pants. The fabric is very silky, with a good weight, and drapes well. This is a good slip if you want clean lines instead of lace edging. I would say this is a versatile slip. Anne from Seattle, WA

I got this in the black and nude colors to go under my wool sweater dresses. They are so comfortable it almost feels like I'm not wearing a slip. They're not the sexiest slip out there, but they serve their purpose and don't cost a lot. Rachel from Nashville, Tennessee, USA

This garment was just what I needed to wear under a hand-knitted cotton dress. I had looked everywhere for a simple, inexpensive opaque slip and Her Room had it! Dress fits better now, and is no longer see-through against the light. Might try this garment as a nightie as well! Lili from Piriapolis, Uruguay

I am 5'1" and the slip is too long. If it had adjustable straps, it would probably fit me perfectly. Like others, the straps were too loose and fell off my shoulders. The feel of the slip was great, the price right, the service excellent. PLEASE consider a redesign for us shorties. Nina from Santa Monica, CA

I love it, but then I just love the feel of nylon on my skin. I wear a 38 but I have a A cup size so it felt a little big. I luv to wear it around the house. With a pair of nylon panties under it, what a sexy look and feel. Bobby from San Diego, Ca.

I should have listened to everyone's else's comments. It's true the slip felt fantastic. The material is so soft that you never want to take it off. However, it was also huge. I was worried a 34 would be too small for my size 8 figure- it even fit my mother and she's a 14! Definitely a great buy to wear to sleep or under a loose dress if bought in your size... Plain, just exactly what I was seeking - and also roomy, perhaps not QUITE what I was seeking (even the 34 is larger than expected) but really gets the job done when all I need is an underlayer that I DON'T want to have any lacy shadow beneath. I appreciate being able to buy this in both white and in the nude shade (don't remember what the nude/beige is called, just that it presents a good alternative to the white under some garments) Andrea from Tucson, AZ

I love this slip. I like the way I can turn it so it's high in the front like a cami, to wear under deep V-front dresses. Susan from United States

The fit was good, however this slip shifts to much while wearing. I had to keep adjusting it. Jen from Halifax PA USA

Great quality, like most Vanity Fair garments, but this just didn't work for me. I probably bought the wrong size, so I'm trying a large. Tends to run big, in my opinion. Linda from Lakewood, CA

The sizing does run a little bigger than normal, however, it's not so big that it'll show through the dress. The material is not as nice as i thought it would be, but it's definitely a nice slip for the price. irene from new york/ny/usa

It is slightly longer than advertised, and because the straps are not adjustable, I have to stitch darts in them to make the slip short enough, but I haven't found any shorter full slips. It did come quickly and wrapped in pretty lilac tissue. Christy from Lexington, KY

I swore it seemed like nobody wore slips anymore! I'm no fuddy-duddy, but sometimes a girl needs a slip! And not one of those saccharine, faux-lace numbers. I mean a plain, stretchy slip that doesn't interfere with the outfit it's under. Well, this is that slip. They're also short enough to wear under long tunics. LOVE this slip. Patricia from Alexandria

Very simple design, with good, light and stretchy fabric. The length is perfect for above-the-knee summer dresses. I'm a slender 34 and this fits loosely, but comfortably so. I do wish the straps were adjustable, though, since I will probably have to shorten them a bit. athena_ak from New York NY

I love this slip. Its a plain no frills slip that works with everything. AND its short so it wont show under shorter dresses. Diggy from Los Angeles
