Valmont Strapless 3 Part Cup Bra with Stays 6489


This ultra-supportive full-figure bra features 3-part cups with non-stretch lace upper cup and opaque lower cups with simplex lining for extra support. Vertical stays in cups give added sturdy support. Wings are powernet to smooth your back. Boning at sides gives added anchorage. Ideal for strapless outfits, this bra gives you support and coverage without sacrificing style. (There are no loops to attach straps.)
  • Vertical boning in cups, center front and sides provides and support and prevents slippage.
  • 3-part, underwire cups are lined with simplex for support.
  • Wide center panel with satin bow holds the breasts in place.
  • Powernet wings smooth you so there's no bumps or bulges.
  • Wide elastic underband adds stability and support.
  • 4-hook, 3-column coated hook-and-eye closure in back.
  • Please Note: Valmont no longer makes Ivory in size 46B.
  • Please Note: Valmont no longer makes White in size 42DD.

I consistently wear a 44DD regardless of brand, but this bra was HUGE both in the band and the cup. I was very surprised as I never have an issue with a bra being too big, it is usually the other way around. I liked the construction of the bra, but based on how it fit, I would I guess that I would take a 42D in this bra. I am exchanging it for that size and will see how it goes. Customer service was very nice.

So far it's a good bra. I've only worn it once so far but I plan on wearing it during the summer or as more strapless tops are brought out for the summer season. I primarily bought it for my mother-in-law's wedding but it was postponed so I wore it for family pictures with my strapless dress this past Saturday. It worked pretty well and stayed up (I've bought some that flipped down cuz of my size). The only complaint I have is that the band going to the back narrows instead of stays wide. I'm a big girl so things tend to roll down so a wide band in the back would've been a lot better. Other than that, I have no complaints. Hopefully it'll hold up for a long time. For me, the item was not a good fitting one. The bra is not smooth under my clothes and it fell. The bra made me look as if I did not have one on. In otherwords, it did not look or feel supportive.
