I have to agree with the reviewer who said it did not fit at all, except in the bust. I, too, was very disappointed.
Herroom's response describing the difference between "full figure" and "plus-size" does not explain the poor fit. I know I am plus-sized and carefully chose the filters to apply to my search so that I would be given a choice of garments that are designed for plus-sized women. I began my search first choosing the Plus Size tab, then selecting the quick link for "plus-size by size", then selecting my bra size. If this is not a plus-sized garment it should not have appeared using these filters. In fact, I ordered several longline strapless garments resulting from that search and although they all fit wonderfully in the bust, not one of them would close around my middle.
HerRoom Response:Longline bras are always a challenge for plus size women. The manufacturer selects a bust size, then determines what the most common waist size will be and makes the garment accordingly. If your waist is considerably large, there really is no long line bra on the market that accomodates you. One solution would be to wear a bra and a piece of shapewear.
I am not apple shaped, I am square shaped. My middle is not larger than my bust or hips, it is narrower by 10 inches. I have measured myself carefully several times using the instructions on this website and looking in the mirror to be sure the tape was straight. Regular bras I've ordered from this site in the same size fit me well.
I will continue my search for a long line strapless I can wear as Mother of the Bride, but I no longer hold much hope of finding something that fits and supports my bust properly and also closes around my middle.
