So far, so good - bought to wear under a wedding gown in July. Very supportive all around, and the cups are not strangely pointy or lumpy even though they're not the "smooth" kind. Excellent product, perfect support, doesn't show under the dress! As a 40DD, I took the advice of others and ordered the bra one size up, but downsized the cups. It fits perfectly! I was concerned that it wouldn't be supportive enough, but it's excellent! Unfortunately, though it came up under the "low back" filter on the website, it's not quite low enough for the bridesmaid dress I'm wearing, so I'll have to save it for another occasion, and figure out some other high-support low-back plan for this wedding. I wear a 34DDD so I ordered a cup size down but the cups were a little large. I wore it with a strapless bra and it worked wonderfully, though. I liked the quality of the item, but the sizing was smaller than I had expected. Cup size was great, but with a little bit of a tummy it didn't do well at all. Once I've gotten further on my weight loss adventure I can imagine I will purchase from Herroom again. Sarah from Wyoming, US

Even though I followed the ordering advice, the cups were still WAY TOO SMALL!!!!! I ordered two others to try and also didn't like them either, so now I'm 22 days away from my big day with no solution AND I have to dish out even more money because my returns (the first one & the second one) STILL haven't been entered into the system! I'm disappointed with service this time around, last time, much more friendly and helpful and the return was processed much quicker, hope they aren't letting things slide!

This is exactly what I was looking for for to wear with my wedding dress. It does the job perfectly, giving me a nice line on my sides. I did exchange it for a 34DD. I wear a 34 normally but thought that I would need to go up to get it around my stomach but it turns out the 36 was just a little bit big. This bustier bra is awesome! I was planning on wearing a strapless bra and Spanx under my wedding dress, but decided that I would really like to be able to eat at my wedding! I tried it on with my dress the night that I got it. It slims your waist without squeezing it to the point of making you feel sick. It also made my bust look incredible. It didn't slip at all, even when I was jumping up and down and dancing around. I ordered my bra size and it fit fine. Overall a great product, it fits great, was comfortable and is sexy. This product is amazing. However, I had to return it due to the the lines showing through my wedding dress. I know that they are there for additional support, however, it was very noticeable under my dress. It gave amazing support and lift! If this will work with your dress, you must buy it. It lifted my large breasts nicely and gave them a very sexy shape. My future husband was trying every idea he could think of to make this work, lol. Nonetheless, I'm sad that it didn't. It's perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it and would recommend it. I did their suggestion. I am a 40DD so I went up one and lowered the cup size. I don't have a tummy, but I still did the suggestion because I hate when bra's are too tight and you get that extra fat under your arms or back, but this is perfect. Celeste from New York

The cup size is a little small, but I tried a 34DD first and it was way too big around my waist and in cup size. It works under my wedding dress and another bridesmaid dress I have. It would be perfect if there was an in between size of the D and DD because of the huge difference. Jennifer from PA

I almost thought this bra would be perfect for me. It's got firm tummy control and while it was snug, it basically did what I wanted in the front. However, I'm returning this bra because the boning in the back is pretty flimsy and buckled out, giving me curves where I don't want them, on my back! Nice idea, but this bra needs better boning. Love this bra. After reading others comments on the fit I ordered a size up and a cup down and it fits me very well. I was measured to be a 38DDD or G european. So I ordered a 40 DD in the bra and it fits very well. I usually wear a 14 pant, if that helps anyone else deciding on the fit. This bra has amazing support. It holds me up very well and looks sexy. The only issue I have is the sides come up a little more than my strapless wedding dress and show. I am just going to fold them down a little and it should be fine. There is no way to find another bra that will be perfect. This is a as close as I'm going to get with my size. Overall I would recommend to the the ladies with larger bust. Amie from Houston

Very uncomfortable. It does slim you down though. The cups aren't very supportive. The metal on the cups pushes your breasts up- maybe too much. I look like I'm suffocating. I will have to make it work because its the second one I ordered. It is very tight definitely size up and maybe size down one on cup. Wish I could return and be measured and get something more comfortable. I just want my special day to be a comfortable one, but I already threw everything away and have wore it 2 times to try it out and try to adjust to it, but its just too uncomfortable. Don't know what I'll do but I do know I wont order clothes, underwear or anything through the internet that has to be tried on anymore. Just one more stress to all the wedding planning.

Va Bien Response: Sounds like you are not used to wearing an underwire bra – or certainly not a bustier. The spiral boning in 513 provides great flexibility and comfort during wear, compared to other bustiers on the market, many of which use plastic bones. This was beautiful. I normally wear a 40B, and ordered a size up in the long line at the suggestion of previous reviewers. The cups on the 42 B were probably a full cup size too large for me....so large, in fact, that I'm not sure the 40b would have been small enough either. I have the worst trouble finding a bra to wear, it has been the story of my life since I developed breasts. I wear sports bras everyday - one specific style/brand - because it's the only thing that provides support and I don't bulge out of. My biggest issue is the bulging. I've been measured many times as a 36DD, but always seem to pop out of everything. I can never shop in places like lingerie stores in the malls because nothing ever fits properly. That being said, I like this product because it actually fits and provides support. It also looks beautiful. I ordered a different model from this site and it fit OK. It was also hideous looking. So I was glad that this product not only fit, but is really beautiful, which is what you want for under a wedding dress. Also, the clear strap worked great. I'm using it as a halter, which means there's an extra strap to use if something happens with the first one. Always nice to have a backup. The one big issue with the product - which I think one other review mentioned - the boning underneath each breast buckles, or bends. This makes me nervous. I'm afraid it will show through the dress and afraid the support will fade as time goes on. But if it supports me for one day, that's all that matters. This bra would have been wonderful had I ordered the correct size. I'm normally a 40-42 D, so I ordered a 42D. I should have ordered a size down in both the cup and around. It fit ok, but didn't do it's job because it was a bit big. But that's my fault and not the bras! Calli from WI

Beautiful garment! I usually wear a 42DD, but all of the DD bras I tried on at the wedding gown shops had too large of cups. So, I decided to go for a smaller cup and found this. The cup size is perfect. The bust size was not. It would barely close at the top and the bottom was pretty lose (probably because it wasn't nearly as long on me as the model). I bought a bra extender for the top 3 clasps, and voila!. It was a great fit. I would still like for it to be a little longer, but it does the job and my gown looks gorgeous with it. I ordered this item one band size larger and one cup size smaller as suggested by previous reviewers. I do need to use middle line of hooks, and the bra fits perfectly! It is a very comfortable long-line bra, the boning is very flexible and doesn't dig in as I have experienced with other long lines. It looks terrific under my wedding gown. Amy from Pittsburgh, PA

I was very disappointed with this product upon receiving it. It was very well made, but not true to size. I had a 6" gap in the back, therefore, I was unable to clasp the garment while wearing it.

Remember that your traditional bra band size measures the circumference around your upper back, and that bra backs are usually stretchy. A bustier however runs all the way down to your hips, and is often made of rigid fabric. Therefore if you have a pear-shaped silhouette, you may experience tightness in the garment when ordering your traditional bra size. In such cases it is best to size up in the band size to accommodate your silhouette, while also sizing down in the cup size (because if you size up in the band, the cup of that garment is graded larger as well – so you need to size down to make sure the cups will still fit).
