A great fitting bra for under knits for us older ladies who need a lift. Most of the seamless designs "mould to your shape". For an older lady like myself that meant that there was a bulge in the lower half of the bra and usually a lateral bulge even with a Chantelle. The 32ddd in this Va Bien model does not allow the sag or the lateral spread. I do work out to keep everything toned and now my chest looks fit too :) I hope they don't discontinue this model or at least other manufacturers consider designing some seamless bras for us older ladies. I also want to thank this site for including others comments, it really helped me select bras and their measurements etc were invaluable. I might add that due to the way this article was shipped to me, I can also tell you that crushing does not destroy the shape so it should pack well for traveling. red hat lady from London ON Canada

I wear 34DDD and the cups on the 34F are extremely small! It fits like it's 3 sizes too small. Maybe it's the shape. Lindsay

I used the site to find my size and ordered accordingly, 32F, but had to return the bra for a 34G. Otherwise everything was good. Stephanie from Santa Maria CA

Very disapointed in this Bra, returning it, from the reviews l expected great lift and support but didnt work for me. This is the first Bra l have returned, it also looked like it has been worn before, loose threads etc, usually Bras are top quality from HerRoom. l will however keep buying from here as the usual quality is great. The cups are extremely stiff. Definitely use European sizing when ordering. I usually wear DD, but need an E in this bra. The straps are also stiff and uncomfortable. I am definitely returning this bra. Stacy from Illinois

The cups for a 42b seem quite large - I'm a small B and simply swim in the thing. Nice bra otherwise. Obviously, this is not the bra for me but could be perfect for a lager 'b' cup type person. Rachel from Toluca lake

Like other customers I also found the cup material itchy. The construction and support were good. I will stop wearing this bra because of the straps, too flimsy and silky which causes the strap adjustor to slip so as the day or activity goes on the strap enlarges and slips off your shoulder.

Va Bien Response: If the straps are lengthening during the day it’s possible that the band is too loose, which can put undue stress on the straps. This style has thin silky straps as a fashion look – if you prefer a bra with rigid straps this style is not for you. Marge from Wisconsin

The bra does not give any support if you are big busted I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sides roll up,when you try to put the bra on the straps come off the bra, its horrible. I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANOTHER BRA FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Va Bien Response: You bought a size too large. That causes the sides to roll up, the straps to fall off the shoulder, and ineffective support to be provided. Jojo from Wampum Pa

I thought the cup design was great and offered support. My problem was the band, it was extremely itchy and uncomfortable. I also did not care for the straps, I thought they were too flimsy for larger busted women. Very disappointing. Dale from Orlando FL

For me, everything is wrong with this bra. I am a 38H now, but when I purchased the bra I was in a 40F. I had really high hopes for this bra based on the reviews and the pictures, but let me tell you, anyone who is wearing this bra must not realize how pointy their boobs look.

The images shown on this site do not reveal the nearly cone shaped cups. If the cups were a more natural, round shape, this bra might be worth a salt, actually. The construction is sturdy and the materials seem like they would be very comfortable and supportive. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this bra to anyone unless they like that 50's sweater puppies look or if their breasts are smushy enough to squeeze them into little cone shapes. Even so, I'd use my better judgment and steer them in another direction. Probably to an Elomi or Freya.

If Va Bien ever decides to make the cups more natural I'd surely try this one again based on the positive points I mentioned above but until then, I think this is one of the worst bras I've tried on and hung up in my closet to rot or be re-sold.

VaBien Response:It's a little tough to judge a bra when one is wearing the wrong size, but in fairness yes, the cups of this balconette bra are projected. This makes it perfect for women with soft bust lines, as you accurately noted. Valerie from CA, USA

This was by far the weirdest bra I've ever tried on. Not really any support to brag about, and it made my breasts look almost pointy and strange. I sent it back.

Va Bien Response:Sounds like the cup size was too large for you, which exaggerated the projected shape of the cups. Consider going down a cup size. Melinda from Finger Lakes, NY

Va bien Ultralifts are my favorite bras! They fit perfectly, and best of all they give great support and a great line in tight clothes. The movable straps provide lots of options and the support and looks are just amazing. Thank you Va Bien! delphine from us

This item, is really not made for bigger busted gals. With only a very small band and 1 hook, it really doesn't give the support needed.

VaBien Response: The back band of the bra is made of a very strong nylon/spandex blend to accommodate its fashion-forward design. Becky from mn

Needed a bigger size in the cup. Read the size specific for this company, it varies from usual European sizes ever so slightly. I had to size up and had to return the bra. tracy from yukon/ok

This is a very supportive bra, but only if you don't have very full-figured breasts. If your breasts are round shaped this bra is not for you, but is really great for a larger-chested woman that isn't so full, particularly on top. The cups are quite pointy too, so depending on what shape you like to display, that might factor into your decision. JK from United States

I rec'd this bra with excitement because in 6 months I haven't had a properly fitting bra. I opened the box, took it out, put it on and immediately realized that the cups are too pointed (only slightly, not like a bullt bra, but still pointy). The band was comfortable on the tightest adjustment, so I could have worn a 38, however, as I', normally a 38DDD, I ordered the 40F to ensure both the band & cup would be large enough. The cup should have been a G (or whichever the next cup size is). I decided to keep the bra as I'm losing weight anyway. I hope this bra ends up working out! I really love the style & construction. :) Valerie from Joshua Tree, CA USA

Didn't like this bra. I feel as though I was falling out of the sides of it. The side panels are not wide enough. I didn't think it gave me the lift like style # 1506 did. I ended up returning this bra, and exchanging it for style #1506. jane from indiana

I wear a 34F in Fantasie and have a very short torso so w/ a giant full cup bra it looks vary unbalanced and unsexy. This looks fantastic!!! And the cups do seem to run a size smaller then w/ the Fantasy or perhaps it's just the way they get distributed in the cup. I find that it fits best if I lift them up and out to the sides a little bit so that the center can lay flat. Whatever it is I still like it. The feeling of lift is comparable to my Enell which I like because Fantasy doesn't quite manage that.. Stuffed up there feeling. I bought it specifically for low cut u-neck tank tops and it succeeds in every way. THe wide set straps look fantastic and the low cut neck line is toppers. Susan from Alaska

Nice bra. But sides and back of bra should be wider with 3-4 hooks. Also, straps were very flimsy. Full size ladies need the extra support. Shawn from Gilbert,AZ,USA
