I wear a 36-38, B-C cup (.depending upon style, make, etc) and love this. I followed other reviewers' advice and purchased the larger band size, 38, and smaller cup size, B. it fits perfectly. I will need a dresser, but that is to be expected with this design. It smooths the entire torso softly yet firmly and does not poke or chafe anywhere. No unfortunate bulges above or below and it smooths right through top of hips. Importantly, no bones pop out oddly when sitting down. I heartily recommend this. I found this to run small. I normally wear a 38D in a bra. I had trouble getting this hooked.

Va Bien Response: In firm control bustiers such as this style we recommend that ladies with a pear shape size up in the band and down in the cup. In this customer’s case she wears a 38D bra, so we would offer her the 40C bustier. Amy from Roswell

Only giving it 3 stars because I have only worn it to try on my mother of the groom dress. Love it! Keeps your chest lifted and in check Very nicely. Material is soft and it looks sexy. I have to wear it strapless and I'm amazed how well my chest looks, all in its place. Lisa from Ohio

This item fit well, looked perfect under my dress, but was already falling apart when I received it. The material that wraps around the foam cups was pulling coming unraveled and pulling out of the stitching. Also, one of the hooks on back was pulling out of place. All before I even put it on! I can't imagine how it would hold up to wearing, let alone washing. Clearly not well constructed. So disappointing since it really did work under my dress.

It was actually a little too big and I needed to buy the next size down even though I always buy 36DD. It was super comfortable and covered by entire mid-section (I have a long upper body so this can be a challenge). Perfectly happy with the product! SB from Boston

I was given really excellent advice on this item by customer service. I had bought a La Perla SexyTown bustier and loved the comfort, but it wasn't long enough for my long torso. I was instructed to go down a cup size and stick with my band size, and this new bustier fit perfectly. By itself I found myself keep pulling it up, but it will probably stay put under my dress. A little more substantial that I was originally looking for, but still comfy! Just ask for for advice from CS- they are great and your best bet for a good fit Renee from Vermont

This bra is wonderful!!! The support is amazing and it provides a superior silhouette with no lines in my form fitting dress. I exchanged for a 38D to allow for comfort near my hips (they are wide and I have a long torso). I do recommend going up a band and down a cup for optimal fit. Amy from Fort Myers, FL USA

This bra worked great for my dress! i would suggest going down a cup size and maybe up a band size if u have a belly. I am usually a full DD but i didnt fill these cups but luckily i had push up inserts and got that little extra that i needed. im 5'10" tall and it was long enough. Dooley from aurora, il

A good strapless bra. I am tall and busty and this bra offers nice support and stays in place. It is shorter on the torso (on me) than in the picture, but comes slightly lower than my waist. My only complaint is that the cups are set a bit wide, so it "lifts and separates" instead of providing a "push-up" look. Follow the fitting guide!!!! The quality of this bra is great. I tried it on and wanted to wear it with my wedding gown, but for some reason it hurt my back and felt uncomfortable.

VaBien Response: Thanks for your kind words about our quality. 1503 is typically high up on the comfort scale, so this sounds like a sizing issue – perhaps too tight. However, to a degree the garment is supposed to fit snug, since it is designed to create an hourglass figure. Although most customers do find the garment quite comfortable, perhaps a bustier is simply not for you and a bra paired with a control brief would be best. I ordered this bra for my sisters wedding. This was the third bra I had ordered. I cannot believe how hard it was to find a bra for a girl my size. I took the advise of many of the other reviews and went up a size in band and down a cup size. I normally wear a 40ddd so I ordered a 42dd. It was too big. I should have stayed with my regular band size and could have went down more in the cup size. A d for sure maybe even a c. I had to roll up two pair of dress socks for each cup and put them under my boobs to fill up the cups. Other than that the bra worked really well. I am wide threw the hips so I was surprised that the band size was too big. So I would suggest sticking to your regular band size unless you have a big belly, I am wide but not round, if that makes since. But I would go down 2 cup sizes if I had to do it again. I am 5'11 and it was plenty long enough. I hope this helps. Kristie from Indiana

This item was very well made. That being said it was not flattering at all. I would recommend this for women with smaller busts. I tried it on with a strapless dress hoping that would disguise the shape but it didn't. The cups are set too far apart for a larger bust and then they seem to point in opposite directions... I love this bustier! Perfect fit for a petite like me. The material is also form fitting and smooth. It really emphasizes your curves. But be warned because it's not true to size. I'm a 34D and this comes one size too big. So I took the 34C. Overall it really works without feeling tight and inconvenient. Smich from San Francisco, CA, USA

Wanted a bustier that will not show through my wedding dress, which is rather slim line, and this bustier fits the bill perfect. Its understated, classy look makes it a perfect fit for me. The fabric feels nice to the touch and the cut on me (I am about 5'8'') is just covering my "love handles" yet is not so long that it is not comfortable to sit down in. I followed the sizing advice in previous reviews and got one up in band size and one down in cup size, and even then the cups are a bit big. Shame. The cups are also not as rounded as I would like but a bit pointy. Overall though I would say it is a nice bustier and I look forward to wearing it at my wedding. Ulli from Sweden
