I read a review that said to buy a size up for comfort, then I read the comment from HerRoom to buy your correct size and I am glad I did. My size 42C fit perfectly. I am so happy to find a long torso all-in-one. I wore it all day and night (as I went to a wedding). The straps fit wonderful and did not dig into my arms. I usually do not buy products with under wire. But the under wire did not hurt. I would recommend this product to everyone especially those like me who need a long torso. Ann from Wayne, NJ, USA

This is a perfect body suit (long torso) for me...not that I have a long torso, but I have a large stomach so it fits well with no belly slipping out the bottom! The quality is great! Catherine from North Bergen NJ USA

I have worn body briefer's for 30 years. This brand used to have Goddess as its competitor. What I do not like is the short length of the back portion and too long length of the crotch piece. As a large woman, with this item I cannot unfasten and then refasten the crotch piece because of its placement. I need to fold down the whole briefer when I need to use the bathroom. At least Va Bien tries to get this right; others reverse the pieces. The best fitting briefer was Goddess for 20 years. Just a small revision would make this an excellent product. Long torso make the fit perfect. The compression is firm and the garment fits very well. Comfortable to wear for long periods. Highly recommend. Jennysue from Charlotte,NC

I went up a size and still too small in the bust. I felt like I was falling out so beware runs REALLY small.

VaBien Response: Most customers do not find that this garment runs so small in the cup. Some customers size up in the band size, however, if they want less body control. We recommend ordering your true size in this style. M from USA

I have returned the garment. I kept my underwear on and it "bunched" where the waistline was. The bra part was not even on both sides, there was a gap in the fabric on the right side and no amount of adjusting helped. I have never had this issue with other bras of the same size.

VaBien Response:Style #1260, like many other Va Bien bodysuits, has a long stride, that is, a long torso. This was likely the reason behind the “bunching”. Rosemary from Frankford, DE/USA

It is so pretty, fits nicely and is comfortable. I do however wish the manufacturers would consider those of us chubettes who do not have large breasts. A "B" cup is what I wear, but this garment, as do so many, only comes in a "C" or larger. So I also purchased some enhancers and stuff it. It works okay, but this is a very generously sized cup. As far as being for longer torsos, I definitely think it is, and this part of it I really appreciate. But I will not purchase again, unless I can get my size cup. If I could I would then purchase several! Gerri from PA

While it's great this bodysuit lets you choose your actual bra size, it doesn't let you choose your body size. I was hoping it'd be adjusted proportionally. Since my chest is very large (42H) I was worried the body might be too big. Boy was that fear unnecessary!

The body was made for someone who's a L or XL. I'm a 16. It wasn't going to happen. Most size 16's are a D-DD. Therefore if they're working backwards from a 42H (since that's the only way they let you choose the size), shouldn't the body have been bigger? Especially because this was listed in the plus size section. Perhaps I was supposed to know the bust was plus sized, while the rest of the garment was not.

Vabien Response:At band size 42, the garment is certainly designed for a full figured customer. However this is a very firm control bodysuit and it is normal for the garment to feel quite tight on the body. It is triple-paneled in the front with very strong fabrics in order to provide dramatic slimming. Perhaps a 44 would have been a better fit, if you wanted less firm control. Jessica from Brooklyn

I needed a firm control undergarment for a low back dress for a recent Wedding reception. I tried numerous strapless low back long line bras and firm control girdles. Could not get the fit, support and comfort I needed until I tried on this Va Bien Briefer. Now my dress fits perfect, my breasts were firm and well supported. My tummy and butt were slimmed down and I looked and felt great! I was able to dance and stand all evening in heels, my back and legs never ached. Since the wedding I have worn this garment under other outfits and received many comments on how great I looked. I love the fit and support! Jane from Lincoln, RI

After searching for months and finding others that were too short in the torso, I am happy to say that this was the perfect fit. I was beginning to think that no one made one with a long torso, but you did and it was perfect. And, the fact that it came in black was an added plus. The others I tried, that did not work out only came in white and beige. I am very pleased. Kim from Bangor, Pa, USA

Loved the length, Hated the Bra part very uncomfortable. Would like to have a plain long torso body briefer without the underwire or fancy lace top.

Vabien Response: The cup section of 1260 is lined with a cotton support panel to provide comfort, but for a customer who does not wear underwires it will clearly not feel the same as a wireless garment. For a bodysuit that is long in the torso but wireless – and also without lace – try Va Bien 1190 . patricia from Kalispell

Great fit on torso, cup, and under arms. Needed longer crotch or ability to adjust crotch. I used bra extenders to accommodate this need. They can easily be sewn into place Cyn from Arlington Heights, IL, USA

Not configured for a bigger lady. Too low under arms, length is not in body of suit, just more snaps and that lets the suit have leg openings near your belly button.

HerRoom Response: You have left this comment on several bodysuits. Unfortunately, because you are tall, most bodysuits will not suit your proportion. Sorry.

Va Bien Response: YES, WE’RE LISTENING TO YOU, SANDRA! THANK YOU FOR THE FEEDBACK. ONE THE CHALLENGES IN DESIGNING BODYSUITS IS ACCOMMODATING WOMEN OF DIFFERENT HEIGHTS WHILE SIZING ONLY BY BRA CUP. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE REGARDING FIRM CONTROL BODYSUITS SUCH AS THE STYLE YOU TRIED, WHICH WILL ONLY STRETCH SO FAR. WHILE THE STRIDE OF OUR BODYSUITS IS LONGER THAN THE INDUSTRY AVERAGE, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT FOR SOME TALLER, FULLER WOMEN, THE GARMENT WILL BE TOO SHORT, LEAVING THE LEG OPENINGS TOO HIGH AND THE UNDER ARM SECTION TOO LOW. VA BIEN BODYSUITS FEATURE THREE HOOKS IN THE GUSSET SO AS TO ACCOMMODATE DIFFERENT LENGTH TORSOS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. SORRY TO HEAR THAT THE STYLE DID NOT WORK FOR YOU, AND HOPE THAT YOU FIND ANOTHER THAT SUITS YOU BETTER. PERHAPS A STYLE WITH LEGS, SUCH AS OUR STYLE 1192, WOULD WORK BETTER AS IT WOULD SOLVE THE LEG OPENING PROBLEM. Sandra from PA

I love the shaping that this provides. I have been on the search for an old school girdle. I was happy to have something that provided for that. Unfortunately, the "bra" does not quite fit, mostly because the item seems not to be built for those who are tall, but I still wear this item because I really love the shaping. Firm, but not uncomfortable. Karen from Brooklyn

Love that this is long torso. I normally cant wear things like this because they ride up and my abdomen usually protrudes into the leg openings. But with the long torso it stays put perfectly. eliza from Brookyn
