While it's great this bodysuit lets you choose your actual bra size, it doesn't let you choose your body size. I was hoping it'd be adjusted proportionally. Since my chest is very large (42H) I was worried the body might be too big. Boy was that fear unnecessary!

The body was made for someone who's a L or XL. I'm a 16. It wasn't going to happen. Most size 16's are a D-DD. Therefore if they're working backwards from a 42H (since that's the only way they let you choose the size), shouldn't the body have been bigger? Especially because this was listed in the plus size section. Perhaps I was supposed to know the bust was plus sized, while the rest of the garment was not.

Vabien Response:At band size 42, the garment is certainly designed for a full figured customer. However this is a very firm control bodysuit and it is normal for the garment to feel quite tight on the body. It is triple-paneled in the front with very strong fabrics in order to provide dramatic slimming. Perhaps a 44 would have been a better fit, if you wanted less firm control. Jessica from Brooklyn

I needed a firm control undergarment for a low back dress for a recent Wedding reception. I tried numerous strapless low back long line bras and firm control girdles. Could not get the fit, support and comfort I needed until I tried on this Va Bien Briefer. Now my dress fits perfect, my breasts were firm and well supported. My tummy and butt were slimmed down and I looked and felt great! I was able to dance and stand all evening in heels, my back and legs never ached. After searching for months and finding others that were too short in the torso, I am happy to say that this was the perfect fit. I was beginning to think that no one made one with a long torso, but you did and it was perfect. And, the fact that it came in black was an added plus. Loved the length, Hated the Bra part very uncomfortable. Would like to have a plain long torso body briefer without the underwire or fancy lace top.

Vabien Response: The cup section of 1260 is lined with a cotton support panel to provide comfort, but for a customer who does not wear underwires it will clearly not feel the same as a wireless garment. Great fit on torso, cup, and under arms. Needed longer crotch or ability to adjust crotch. I used bra extenders to accommodate this need. They can easily be sewn into place Cyn from Arlington Heights, IL, USA

Not configured for a bigger lady. Too low under arms, length is not in body of suit, just more snaps and that lets the suit have leg openings near your belly button.

WHILE THE STRIDE OF OUR BODYSUITS IS LONGER THAN THE INDUSTRY AVERAGE, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT FOR SOME TALLER, FULLER WOMEN, THE GARMENT WILL BE TOO SHORT, LEAVING THE LEG OPENINGS TOO HIGH AND THE UNDER ARM SECTION TOO LOW. I love the shaping that this provides. I have been on the search for an old school girdle. I was happy to have something that provided for that. Unfortunately, the "bra" does not quite fit, mostly because the item seems not to be built for those who are tall, but I still wear this item because I really love the shaping. Love that this is long torso. I normally cant wear things like this because they ride up and my abdomen usually protrudes into the leg openings. But with the long torso it stays put perfectly. eliza from Brookyn
