Love it! Fabulous job of slimming my tummy/hips. It kinda crushes my bustline, but then again that's slimmed too! I like that it's low enough in the front and back to wear with my dress. It's very comfortable once I get it on, and love how it does its part to convince my fitted dress to fit great! Ellen from Oregon

I am only 5'3" and this was too long for me. Other than that, it was very comfortable. Di from Chicago

The bottom 2/3 of the Va Bien Extra Firm Body Briefer (#1192) was good, but I hated the top. For a full-busted woman, it was not at all supportive. The straps laid way too far out on the shoulder (felt like they would slip off) and it "scooped" too low in front (I don't wear low cut clothes so I don't need a "sultry" look.....I need lift and support!) Is there another model that has the bottom half like the Va Bien 1192 but has a much more supportive and full-coverage bra???

VaBien Response:Unfortunately Va Bien doesn't make anything like this. However, we have suggested to them that they do so! Margaret from Phoenix, AZ

Tummy and hips was a very good fit, but bust did not fit properly (too small) and the shoulder straps are a little too far out on the shoulder--they're prone to slipping off. I'm ordering the 38DDD and am hoping that it will fit in the bust but still be nice and firm everywhere else, and that the shoulder straps will not slide off. Margaret from Phoenix, AZ

I was very disappointed in this product, because you would think with the size there would have been support in the bust area. There was no support at all. I have returned these items.

VaBien Response: 1192 is designed for someone who wants all over, firm control shaping, but will not wear an underwire bra. For the additional bust support, VaBien 1191 would be a better choice – it features underwire cups. Jeanne from Oelwein Iowa USA

Love the way the garment fits, overall. The cup size is very generous though, and although I'm usually a (large) D-cup, this was a little to big and didn't support as well. I'm going to try one size down and see how that works. Everything else about the garment is A+++. I love the fit through the tummy, hips and thighs. dmv

Nice cup definition for a soft cup bra, but ouch, ouch no strap adjustment. I needed about 2" more in body length even though I am quite short waisted. The crotch closer was fascinating. A split pullover crotch covered by a pull through cover that latches in front with hooks and eyes. Rosemary from Spokane, WA

I am really sorry to have to give this item such a low rating, but it did absolutely nothing for me. I was thrilled about other reviews and about a full body briefer with my bust size (38DDD), when I opened it I thought it looked great, but when I put it on it was a big disappointment: No support whatsoever. All the bulges were still there, and it even made my derriere look bigger, due to the "lifting" panels it has under the buttocks area. I sent it back immediately. I am now going to try the German brand Anita.

HerRoom Response: Unfortunately, full body-covering items like this never fit a petite or short torso women well. We always recommend a shapewear camisole with a biker pant for a better fit.

Va Bien Response:Va Bien bodysuits have a longer than average stride – meaning that the garment is quite long. For petite customers (under 5”3), this can cause the garment to bunch up and not pull in the body effectively, unless that customer is quite wide in the torso. This is a challenge in designing bodysuits. Rosie from Washington DC

Terrific undergarment! Most all-in-ones I've tried really lack support & proper shaping in the bra. This one had great support and shaping. It was extremely comfortable--not too tight, and smoothed everything out under my slinky cocktail dress. Even going to the bathroom was easy. The hook/eye fastener is smartly placed up in the front so you don't have to do contortions to get it refastened!! Love it! dbaj from Woodbury/NY/USA

Needed a a firm to control foundation to wear under a dress for a formal dinner. Also difficult to find a briefer in my cup size: DDD. This product made my dress fit great and gave my full figure a great look! I was comfortable all evening and this briefer gave me great support! I now wear under other clothing and everything fit's better. Also like the wide straps and firm control. Mary from Easton, MA

I loved the firm control and how comfortable it was. I only had two issues, the panel between your legs was too hard to get back done once you unhooked it. I found it easier just to pull it to the side. I also wish the back would have been a little bit higher. Susan from Metairie, LA

This garment does a great job holding you in and smoothing out the lumps and bumps. Very comfortable to wear - does not ride up over the course of the day. Sizing seems to run a little big. I'm normally a C cup, but had to exchange for a B cup. Her Room was amazing in doing a quick exchange through the mail with no shipping costs to me. Highly recommended! Tara from Vermont/USA

I love the fit, except I would have liked it a little bit longer in the torso. It makes me feel massaged during the day. I wear it to work out to help keep me from feeling so sore afterward and it is working out very nice. I do Zumba and sometimes the salsa makes my hips sore and this seems to really help with that. The only thing I don't like is getting it on. And it is kind of hard to catch the strap to hook it back after you go to the restroom, but that is the price you pay to look good. I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 only because I expected more control. This was the largest size, maybe the next smaller would've been better for really firm tightening. I bought it for my daughter's wedding. My dress is just clingy enough that I look lumpy and jiggly upon dancing. It doesn't make me look smaller, but it smooths everything and holds it all still without flattening my bust or butt. I usually wear an underwire bra, but this holds me up pretty well.I especially like the way the long leg doesn't cut into my thighs and create another bulge. And my thighs are large. The crotch access is ample, just hold the "strap" back before you sit. It's very comfortable so I'm glad I got the size I did. But if you want very tight control, you should order a size smaller than you think you'll need. Liz from York, PA

This item fit me perfect. I sort of wish it had a deeper front plunge so I could wear it with certain things. I ordered 5 different types of body briefers on this site. This one is my fav. The cup is smoothe with no seams and it's snug everywhere else..goodbye back fat! Cindy from northern va

This brief if pretty good. I though it would hold me in better but it is a little loose around my thighs... butt lift is a bit awkward, doesn't hold in stomach as expected, maybe a smaller size would have been better Sylvia from CA

I love it. I have worn it several times and it really sucks you in and makes your rear firm and not jiggly. LOL. I'm a large women (265) and this fit me just fine. It really sucks your tummy in. I'm very happy with it. Crystal from Lewisville, TX

I wish I had gotten a 34C rather than my usual 34D in this piece. My breasts don't fill up the cups, and the bra is very full-coverage--I had to layer a camisole on top to cover the tops of the cups which were showing under a moderately low-cut dress. (My torso is also short, so maybe the cups wouldn't cover as high on a longer-torsoed woman.) The bottoms of the legs also do create a "panty-line" under thin pants (like light wool suit pants) when you sit down, but they are invisible when you are standing up or under a skirt. The real issue is the control, and that is good, though not ironclad; it smooths the line of your front so that instead of having a spare-tire belly you have a long, graceful vertical curve. The butt-lift support is cleverly designed and good. Finally, while the large "hatch" for going to the bathroom is excellent in some ways--the hooks are high up in the front, so you can see what you are hooking, rather than having to reach way down between your legs and feel for the hooks/eyes--this means that the flap is also quite long, so watch it while you are actually sitting on the toilet. The first time I wore it, I accidentally dragged the end of my flap in the toilet water, yuck.

HerRoom Response: Thank you for this information. We loved your use of the word "hatch" to describe the crotch opening. SR from MA

Unfortunately, this item didn't fit me at all and I had to send it back. I really didn't like it very much once I saw it in person and sent it back. I decided to get something else instead. Susan from Glendale, AZ

Currently wearing a previous model of this garment I know how comfortable and fdigure controlling it is. This new garment looks even better and my husband is quite excited at the thought of seeing me wearing it. Elaine Elaine from United Kingdom
