Photo is deceiving; if you look carefully, you can see that the model has something pulling it together in the back. This slip might work well for women who have very large waists and/or wear tent dresses; it is way too baggy for me.

With reservations that the fabric is in no way quite as thick (thus make seeing thru impossible) as the earlier slips which were made- and are no longer made- by Shadowline. However, they are billed as eternally static free and I used to spray the Shadowline ones with each wearing! As for HerRoom, they attached a discount coupon which had run out -- perhaps part of the delay in getting my slips. joan from massachusetts

This is a wonderful, and very comfortable slip. I especially like the slightly stretchy straps that stay up and stay the same length. I searched all over to find this slip because this is just what I had growing up! It's VERY comfortable, non-clingy, with adjustable straps. After looking time and time again for decent slips at area department stores, I finally tried looking on the internet. Here, I found HerRoom. I was delighted and pleased to find such an abundant selection of slips and other unmentionables on the site. I even found a slip with laced straps (not those slide contraptions that always break). Also, the slip was pretty and flattering for my size (38). If I had one complaint about the slip, I would say, "Give me more colors and more varying lengths." Otherwise, the slip was perfect.
