Runs small as it is a compression item. Too small on my soft hips gives a muffin top. I ordered one size larger than normal, but still it didn't work out for me. Quality is good otherwise. Consider ordering two sizes too large if you are tall and are concerned with digging into hips and making your waist appear larger than you'd like. Holly from Tempe
