Wish I had listened to the other reviewers and ordered one size up in band size. Very comfortable otherwise. SDG13 from New York

Beautiful bra. I'm just okay with it. I'm very small so unless I have my shoulders way back, the material has a few gaps in the front as if it's stretched out. I usually wear a 36A, but in this particular bra, I don't think 36 would fit. Susan from Virginia

I love this bra. It has everything! Sexy, sheer and colorful. My husband loves it! However, I am returning it because it runs too small. I am a 34B. Unfortunately, when I opened this package, I found it to be listed as a 34B, but it was way to tight and the cups were a strain! I am returning it today and asking for a 36C. If the sizing is this far off, I don't know if I can trust the "sizing" of Timpa any longer. Deborah from NC

this bra is adorable on! sexy and has good support for something sheer. i read the note from the website that it ran small but still ordered a 34... my mistake. i had to exchange to 36... really i had no idea that the sizing would run this way. so do yourself a favor order a size up. i am by no means a 36 but the manufacturer just makes it like that i guess.... I LOVE this bra except for one thing: I keep popping out. The look and feel are great, but after about an hour of inactive wear (as in, sitting at my desk or walking around my apartment) my nipples have inevitably fallen out. I am normally a 32 or 34 A, and I finally went with a 34 B in hopes that the larger cup size would keep my girls in. No such luck. I wear demis from other manufacturers and do not have this problem, so I was surprised. Clearly this bra works well for so many small breasted women out there -- I only wish I was one of them! As another reviewer said, if only we could get Timpa to make a version with fuller coverage!

Timpa Response: Ok- so if you wear a 32A in Timpa you’d be a 32B, not 34. There is not enough tauntness in the lace fabric to keep your flesh in if you go up in the cup size as well as the band. Secondly, for a fuller coverage style, please try the Timpa cotton bra 0001. NB from California

I have this bra in both the 32B and 32C sizes. I love that the band is nice and tight because I am closer to a 30 band size and these are so comfortable. They are also both sexy and comfortable and wear well all day. They only get a 4 star because I have the nipple fall out problem. Yes, this could be the way my breasts are shaped and because the cups are very demi. I did order the 32C size to try and cover up a little more. I'm not sure it works. For me and the shape of my breast, it seems to cover more at first but then because the cup itself has a little more give due to the larger size, I feel that the nipple slippage is actually a bit more than in the tighter cup of the 32B. I would highly recommend this bra to small busted women everywhere. It's hard to find sexy, comfortable, non-padded bras in many colors for small busted women. Now if we could only get Timpa to make a 32B in the full coverage lace..... :) tara from Nashville, TN

Very cute. No more or less comfortable than any other bra I've had. I read other reviews that stated this bra runs small, which is very true. I recommend ordering a size larger (I normally wear a 36A and ended up buying a 38B). I was a little disappointed on the time it took for delivery and to get my return order. Other than the fact that I would have liked my return a little faster, I was pleased with the return process. I would definitely order from this company again. Nell from Greenville, SC, USA

Only one hook in the back makes it less comfortable than most bras. Very sexy tho!! pretty color.

Timpa Response: The one hook is done so that you don’t feel the bra on. Most clients love this feature. It may be that your breast is too heavy for this bra, therefore the one hook is riding up? katherine from NY USA

I took my size from the Victoria Secret bras that I wear. This bra of the same size is much smaller and unwearable. I am disappointed.

Timpa Response: Victoria Secret is like the Gap, it runs big. I’d recommend a 34 C in Timpa. Jan

These bras are great but you definitely need to size up for the band. Women's sizes are a real nightmare but this kind of measurement is usually something you can depend on. Guess not, sigh. Too much hassle to exchange so I'll probably live with it. Mart from centre hall, PA USA

I really like this bra! I got it in white and in the blue- which is just as pretty as the picture. It has just enough cover and support to work, without feeling like I'm drowning in extra material. Sometimes it seems that the stores at the mall just have scaled down versions of the bras made for larger sizes- the fit just never seemed right, even in the correct size. This however feels like it was engineered just for smaller frames. MKA

This bra is soft and doesn't have all that extra padding and shaping, so you can comfortably be you. It's fun to wear it when you are relaxing. Ginni from Palm Desert

I'm totally on the fence. I want so badly to love this bra, but I'm not sure I'm happy with the coverage. I normally love a demi bra, but this one seems to be cut just a little bit too low for my chest. It fits like I dream when I first put it on, but after time (whether sitting at my desk or moving around), the cup starts to slouch or drop, to the point where my nipples have popped out. This means I end up having to constantly check to make sure the bra is in the right position and my nipples are tucked away! For reference, I can be anywhere from a 32AA to a 34A, depending on the brand. I tried this one first in a 32A. While the band fit okay, I immediately exchanged for a 34B, in hopes that the larger cup size would offer more nipple coverage. Like other reviewers, I also have concerns about the delicate cup stretching out over time.

Timpa Response: This is a very low style. I would recommend the 32B if you are usually a 32A, by going to 34B, the lace of the cup Is not taunt enough to hold the flesh in, since the cup is too big, hence why you are popping out. Nancy from CA

too demi...not true to size...wish it weren't so low...otherwise it would have been a great bra.

TimpaResponse: Yes, it is true 16449 does run small, however the style is meant to be a demi cut, low and sexy. If you are seeking more coverage I suggest trying the cotton version 0001 Stacy from Charlotte/NC/USA

I love this bra. I'm glad I read the reviews, because the band does run a size small. But other than that it's perfect. The mesh cup is very sexy, especially under a t-shirt or something silky. Definitely worth the money. Maureen G from Binghamton, NY USA

After reading the reviews, this sounded like the perfect bra for someone like me. 5'6", 115. I don't like padded bras, but find that a lot of un-padded bras bunch, or wrinkle, and cannot be worn with thinner tops. This bra is perfect! It is very flattering for smaller chest. Gives a lot of "umph" :) I would second the reviews recommending to buy a size up. Cup size was accurate, but I normally wear a 34', and the 36' fit perfect. Tara from Madison, WI USA

I got this for my wife. Went a size larger as recommended and it fit fine. But its very lightly constructed. My wife says she is not comfortable wearing it out. It is a very sexy bra, however. Bob from Detroit, MI, USA

Great bra; very sexy and functional. Don't wear it if you are going to be very active or lifting stuff, as you'll wind up showing nipple. Regina from New York, NY

I REALLY like this bra its comfortable, lightweight, and demure. After wearing padded bras for years, I came across this bra and I am a convert now. Finally, a bra for smaller chests with a sexy edge in style and comfort. I will order more colors from Timpa. Smiles from Atlanta, GA

I am very impressed. It is exceedingly difficult for me to find a bra - often a A-cup is baggy and at over 40 I've had it with teen bras! This Timpa not only fits, I feel pretty and sexy in it. The bra is comfortable - I can wear it all day with ease. Get one size larger band than usual - I am normally 32 and the 34 fits. Catherine from New York City

If you order up a size for the band, this little number fits well. 36A, my normal size, way too tight. 38A is perfect. One slight issue, I am 5'8" and the slide on the strap is lengthened completely. A 1/2" more slack would be nice. Enhances A-cups beautifully! Shirley from Woodbridge CT
