The thinness is perfect, but the flaps are uncomfortable and hard to adjust. I have to wear them on top of my bra. Deanne from Berkeley, California, USA

the slim line is just enough of soft shoulder height and roundness for a natural appearance. I first bought the "regular" size and had to cut them down as they were too much bulk. The slim line is a perfect fit. Patricia from San Francisco CA

Do not like that the flaps face toward neck. Other pads I have had from another company offer the flaps facing the end of the shoulder. Awkward to put on compared to my other shoulder pads. I would not order these pads again.

The Natural Response: We didn't know that companies faced the flaps different ways. We've always known the flaps to always face toward the neck. Karen from Woodridge, Illinois USA

Disappointing. Awkward to slip under bra straps and didn't look that good under clothes. Because I have to fasten my bra in front and slide it to the back, I'd prefer a shoulder pad with a more tenacious fastening. Ginny from Bangor, ME

Great product. I use them without the under flap. I place them under my bra straps. Very comfortable. Very pleased with product. Marilyn from Howell, NJ

The shoulder pads are good enough. They are thin foam and you can trim them, which I did, to a more narrow width if you wish, so as not to show with wider neck tops. I like that they attach with a foam flap that goes under the strap. Mrs. T. from PA

I thought this had a tricot overlap but they do not. That may be my error. But I think they will tear and clothing will not slide easily over them with the rough surface. Otherwise, the profile was as described. Jean from Owings Mills, MD, USA

Very nice. Works with or without the flaps. The right fit, not to big, not to small. Mary from San Antonio, TX

I very much appreciate the great maximum lift these pads have. In the past, I have had trouble finding pads with sufficient lift. However, what I dislike about them is that the foam flaps tear easily and are difficult - cumbersome - to get under the bra strap. I would prefer these pads to be made in a fabric and have a snap or a velcro adhesive which would be at once easier to secure and more resistant to tearing. Miss Lindstrom from New York

I really love these shoulder pads because they don't look bulky. The Petite is the perfect size to wear under sweaters. It's a little too thick for t-shirts so I just ordered the Slim-Line for that. But these pads stay in place nicely and are comfortable to wear. Worth the money. Shannon from California

Nice product, fast service, and good price. I can't really fault these, but I find them awkward. Just not a good fit for my body. Keller from Southeast

The pad has a very good shape and fits well under all types of tops giving a natural look. Gives me a better posture look. Only problem is that the flaps may rip off after some wear. There should be a better way to secure the pads in the clothing than under the bra strap which can be difficult to position. Chris from Friedrich

I was expecting a larger, thicker pad that squares off the shoulders like the ones I have. These are more rounded which I dont care for. BARBARA from CARMICHAEL,CA. usa

It is my great pleasure to review these very thin shoulder pads, which give just the right amount of slight definition to knits, etc., without looking like you have a shoulder pad in the garment. The reason that I wanted to review these pads is because I have purchased them from quite a few other online companies and the little sponge flaps always tear off, sometimes the first time you wear them. But these are different. The flaps stay on, don't rip or tear, and the pads themselves are really comfortable. These are the best anywhere and you will save yourself a lot of money if you only buy from HerRoom where you get such a good value for a very reasonable price. Carole from Chicago, Illinois, USA

Being the smallest size available, they were a little bigger than expected. They fit well and stay in place, but I wish there had been one size smaller to choose from. P. J. from Pittsburgh, PA, USA

I've ordered these for years from your company, this is the first time (and I ordered twice for this order) that the flaps are headed in the wrong direction...toward the inside. I searched online and found that the ones you carry now are indeed 'unusual' and they are harder to put on, easier to fall out of place.

The Natural Response: As many shoulder pads as we have sold we have never had a complaint about the flaps before. We checked the direction of the flaps from the Natural and compared them to another shoulder pad company we have and the flap goes the same direction. Barbara from MD
