I'm continuing my search for a strapless shaping slip. On the positive side this slip did a good job of smoothing my belly and hips without flattening my butt. Also, the claim that the hem would stay in place was pretty accurate. Which is why I can't understand why they couldn't apply that same technology to the bra. It had a single thin line of silicon along the very top edge of the bra in front and absolutely nothing along the back. No sooner would I get the bra adjusted and it would need pulling up and re-adjusting.

HerRoom Response: We notice that you state you re petite in height. Unfortunately, bodysuits on the market simply do not accommodate a short stature.

TC Fine Shapewear Response:It is always difficult to comment on how a particular bra fits, as everyone’s needs vary. That said, our guess would be one of three scenarios. First, depending on either the hip size (perhaps proportionately too wide, thus stretching the garment too much horizontally, thus shortening the stride = the bra being pulled down, or, while the wearer is 5’3, she may have a long stride, again pulling the bra down. Or thirdly, the bra simply does not fit, even though the size may be generally correct. In any one piece garment, there are four proportions that must “work together.” The bra (most critical as it determines whether the remainder works), the stride, the waist, and the hips. The bra was way too small for a larger busted person. Useless to me.

TC Fine Response: The slip is really an “all in one” disguised as a slip. In other words, because it has a panty inside, it has all of the fit characteristics of an all in one and all of the limitations. The four proportions that must work together are the bra size, stride, hip, and waist. If the bra doesn’t fit, then the remainder of the garment won’t either. Any molded bra, regardless of the maker, has a limited fit in as much as it is a rigid cup, with no stretch. As opposed to a seamed, unlined cup, there is almost no adjustment allowed. Before I ordered this girdle I went right to Spanx due to the high amount of publicity the company gets. Well the hype was not worth the purchase. That product was nowhere worth what it cost. So when I found this product I was worried it wouldn't be as described either. But I was pleasantly mistaken! If you have to wear any cocktail or short dress and want your tummy sucked it and any jiggly skin to stay in place this is definitely the girdle slip you want! It's snug, stays securely in place, and is just absolutely wonderful! I'm wearing this item under a cute dress to a wedding and it actually makes me look a size or two smaller in the midsection. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND WILL DEFINITELY BE PURCHASING EXTRAS IN DIFFERENT COLORS! I can't say enough about this product. Really disappointed. Torso was way too small. I'm only 5'6", but even with the straps attached, this shapeware kept wanting to condense down, and pull my breasts down with it! Definitely not seamless. I attempted to wear this under a satin dress - the built in panty attachment lines, and those on the derriere shown through horribly. Nor is the tummy compression very good, that belly button indention was glaringly visible. I don't understand how it can have so little control yet feel so bulky! I'm sticking with chest high control/top pantyhose (like Spanx)- which compress better, are more comfortable, and have no lines. Emily from Dallas

Go up one cup size and you will be very pleased. The gripper hem keeps it in place and it really smooths out my tummy and side bulges like nothing else. Perfect for under a dress - no panty lines, and no visible line where the slip ends. I wear it at work for 10 hour days in total comfort. I loved the body of the slip, but the cups were way too small. They seemed to make everything flat. Although I realize this product is for minimizing most things, my chest is not what I want shrunk.
