This is a great waist cincher, definitely worth the money. I am short and I didn't find that it flipped up like the less expensive Rago waist nipper. Megan from NY, NY

I love this thing! I bought it as a back support. It is very comfortable and after the first time learning all the hooks, it is easy to get on and off. I can wear it all day and I don't feel squished. The sizes are accurate so measure carefully and be honest. The only reason I gave this a 4 was because it is not quite long enough for my torso. I am very tall (6 feet) and it could use about 2-3 extra inches in length to be just right for me. Still, I will buy another one because it is just what I needed for my back. This is absolutely effective; it took two inches of holiday overindulgence off my waist. As long as this is in my closet, I can skip the gym. ;-) Laura from PA

I am debating what to do about this item. When I put it on, it just didn't seem to hold anything in, almost like it wasn't there. I don't know if that means its just too big for me or what. I wear a size 18/20, but ordered just above my waist size (I have a 38, ordered the 40-42) because the XL seemed far below my dress size. I haven't decided to try another size or just exchange it for another girdle.

Squeem Response: Please go by the waistline measurement. You went a size up from what you were supposed to. You should try the XL, as it should fit you correctly. Samantha from Columbus, OH

I love this waist cincher! I wear it 8 hours a day. It absolutely helps me to eat less and feel better about myself. I have three. One of them is now in a larger size, so I donated the other two. Mary from Chicago/IL/USA

This item is wonderfully comfortable. I purchased it more for the back support, because I have back issues. It has helped a lot. It also smooths everything out.....no midriff lumps and bumps. JSH from Alsip, IL USA

Cinchers should be for small framed people. I have ordered two, returning both because of how they fit. It may fit great at the top but the lower part isn't fitting as well. It also flips when you sit or go to the restroom. If a person is paying this amount for a garment as such it need to fit better.

HerRoom Response: Unfortunately, most shapewear on the market does not work for petite woman such as yourself. theresa from bowling green kentucky/usa

WOW! This far exceeded my expectations. I was nervous the first time I put it on, since it seemed tight and hard to fasten. BUT, it is just a learning curve. It stretched the first day I wore it, just enough to make it easy to put on and take off after that. I ordered one size larger than I thought I could "get away with" and this was a great idea, although I would say their sizing chart is very precise so you need to measure - it's dead on, so be honest with yourself! The nice thing is, there are two rows of hook fasteners, so if your water weight tends to vary, you are covered. I got this to use as a back support for sports. I have an illness that causes alot of truncal obesity (plus the prednisone I take to treat the illness does too) yet I still participate in the same sports I always have - equestrian, tennis, etc. This is the ultimate back and abdominal support - long enough, NO rolling, NO shifting. Yes, you will sweat under it a bit (nothing like those useless neoprene thingies) and you'll sit up straight, and you'll definitely be aware of this meanie the first day, but it becomes a second skin and postural teacher. Ordered another one and the one with bra straps too, as when I LOVE a product they tend to stop making it. Anyway, I am also a therapist and would recommend this product to my patients. THANKS HerRoom for stocking this! Linda from Mooresville/IN/USA

This is a quality product, very well made. I ordered my normal size; it fits perfectly. Using it mostly for back support; it is the best product I have found so far. (Wish I had found it years ago - those drugstore waist cinchers are garbage.) I saw the review that mentioned a rubber odor, which delayed my decision to order; but so far, I have not detected any rubberlike smell. Glad I did not order the one with straps; it supports extremely well without the need for straps. Kim from North Carolina

It's pretty tight and constricting when you first try it. But it does give an instant effect. Hopefully it will work in the long run too. Lala from Milwaukee/WI/USA

I love it. I am overweight and working on it. When I wear the Squeem, it helps me to stand up straight and eat less. It also makes me look 10 pounds lighter, or so I am told. It helps to hold in the "muffin top". Thanks. Janet from Seneca, SC, USA

I can't get comfy in this thing. And I don't mean it's too tight, or too constricting, or whatever...I'm prepared to live with that. But, yesterday when I put it on, one of the vertical "bones" (?) on the right was bulging out like it had lost all its hold. Everyplace else, it was fine. Now today it's all fine on the right, but everything from my waist up is being cinched and everything from the waist down is pooching out ridiculously. When I first bought it, it held everything in well...this is about my 8th time wearing it and I feel it is useless for the belly portion between my belly button and crotch; everything is just as big as it was before. Bleah.

HerRoom Response: It sounds like you need to go up at least one size. Your symptoms sound like your garment is too small for you. Delamaine from Sammamish, WA

I feel this is a great garment. The hook and eye is a little hard to hook though. Slims the body down a lot. JoAnn from Glassboro NJ USA

I developed a muscle pain in my back that couldn't be controlled by a regular support belt. This girdle provided the support I required to make the muscle pain go away. I have it only one week, but it makes me aware of my posture. The only thing I had problems with is finding the correct size for men. Great garment. John from Portsmouth, VA, USA

WOW - a waist cincher it is! I bought this product to help transition post baby body. This definitely tucks in my belly. It helps me have much better posture, being that I'm not able to slouch comfortably. It actually is quite comfortable to wear for the most part, although it doesnt breathe well. It does however stay put! I really think that it cinched me down a size! I would recommend this to anyone looking to slim down for events, or simply to make clothes fit better. Before I began wearing a Rago 6207 everyday I wore the Squeem 26C - it certainly did work but was very obvious. When I wore one my wife would always tease me and said that my girdle did show. On the other hand the Squeem did hold in my stomach, did not require stockings, and made me want to lose weight. The Rago is undetectable and comfortable - the Squeem always showed and was very tight - I could not wait to get the girdle off! Robert from NYC

I bought this item to wear under my wedding dress and have worn it many times since. It took me a few try-ons at first to find out where on my body it needs to sit on my body without the boning poking, but once I got myself situated, it REALLY sucked me in. The only down side is that the hook and eye strip shows through thin fabric. Nyssa from Bowling Green, OH, USA
