Skinny britches are the best. I need to order a few more pairs. They smooth out any bumps or lumps and make slacks drape so much nicer! Don't leave the house without them on!! Caroline from Washington, DC

Despite reading negative reviews on several sites for a while, I went ahead and tried these because they looked so comfy and are just the kind of thing I was looking for. Unfortunately, the waist rolls from the moment you put them on - and they were not too small (which often explains rolling). Seems to be due to the lack of a waistband. The material is delicate and you can't pull them on like you would bike shorts. For me, though, the rolling waist was a deal-breaker. They're going back. LD from Connecticut

Nice firm hold/ gives you a nice shape and the fabric is light and thin enough that you don't really notice you have it on/ cant see it under your cloths... its not cumbersome at all. My only complaint is that for some reason the back part of it (above your butt) doesn't come up high enough so you end up having to tug it up from time to time.. and it creates a little back fat? not sure what they were thinking in making that part! overall I like it. I ordered Skinny Britches and I really liked the weight and feel of them but found them to roll up on the legs. I don't feel they are too small and really am at a loss on how to correct the problem. If they didn't roll I would buy more!!! lulu ann from monterey calif

Great idea -- very lightweight and so much more comfortable for every day than Spanx Power Panties. Definitely solves the problem of VPL and makes for a smooth butt and thigh. HOWEVER, while Power Panties stay put, the Skinny Britches roll up at the bottom, which makes a line that's visible on the leg of many pants. Seems like you have to make a choice: day comfort OR a really smooth leg line. Barbara from Westchester, NY

I must admit that at first I was skeptical that I would like to wear this particular shaper on a regular basis. However, once was all it took! I am already planning to purchase more in the near future. Thank you for offering this product at such a great price! Ashley from San Francisco, CA USA

Surprisingly thin! I have regular spanx and decided to try this style for summer. I really like the thin fabric and ability to layer two or more together, especially with the different styles so you can get double tummy control or thigh coverage. Laurie from United States

I thought that these would solve my shapewear problem in that most shapewear is too hot in the summer. I loved them, until I put my finger through them when I was putting them on one day. I ruined them, like one might do with pantihose. They are too expensive to be so delicate and rip so easily quickly. JJ from New York, NY

I purchased the Spanx Thigh Shaper to wear under a matron-of-honor dress for a wedding. The britches worked to a certain extent. They smoothed out the bumps and humps and prevented the friction from my thighs rubbing together. However, I didn't find them overly helpful when I had to get in and out of the limousine. The waist rolled down my stomach, past my hips to the point that I thought they were going to end up down my thighs around my knees. I was able to get out of the car and get to a restroom to re-position them. They were fine the remainder of the afternoon and evening and were comfortable enough. Understanding that I'm a plus size, it was suggested I consider buying a full body shaper to avoid the rolling. Gwendolyn from Ferguson-Pugh

The Thigh Shaper is great in concept, but not so much in practice. I purchased the 2X based on the sizing chart, but knew that I should have gone to the next size. The Thigh Shaper isn't really made for large thighs and extra large rear's. The material is very comfortable, but the fit didn't hit the mark. Gwen from Parlin, NJ, USA

I keep trying Spanx and am always disappointed. I had the perfect shaper and unfortunately that company is out of business. Although this item was better then other Spanx items, I have tried, I did not like that the thigh length was a tad on the short side and the edges cause the skin to bulge. I am in very good shape and not fat, but dont want things to be bulging nor do I want to feel that I am in a girdle from the 1950's. Bernadette from Holliston MA
