I love this item. I am a small size but bought a large just to have no lines show under a fitted, clingy, knit dress. Because I did not need "shaping," but just bra and panties with no lines, the size large worked perfectly for the undergarment with no bra line, panty lines, or lines around thighs where the leg ends Frances from LA

It does what I hoped, namely hold my stomach in a bit. The bra fits well and can accommodate different sizes. I wore it with a separate bra, which caused a bit of bulge in back where the item's super strength control ended. Overall a good item to have, I would recommend to the company to phase out the control more on the thighs. Alisa from Minneapolis

The Spanx Shapesuit fits well with no pantyline at the thigh. It's comfortable and gives an overall smooth look to my dress clothes. I would give it the highest rating except for one thing, though the cup size of the bra actually fits, it is made from the same stretchy spandex and so it flattens out the breasts. If you are a large curvy woman such as myself the last thing you want to do is flatten the breasts thereby making the hips and thigh area look even larger! I had to wear a very supportive bra under the shape suit to counteract this which was very warm and mildly uncomfortable.
