This item offers support and really holds you in. It's not difficult to put on, simply step into it and pull up smoothing out the sides as you pull up. My only complaint is the straps; they seemed to be too far out on the garment, therefore causing some discomfort around the armpits. I tuck them in under my bra straps and it seems to work. Spanx REALLY works! This item does hold you in. It is a piece of garment that most women should have. The straps do bother a bid as they sort of rub against your shoulder/under arm area. However, you need to play around with this and find a solution that will work for you; mine was tucking them under the bra-straps. Worth buying! Fran from New York

I love the Open Bust Cami. However, after several hours of wearing it, the straps are too tight and seem to be pulling. By the end of the day, I am very eager to remove the Cami. I thought possibly I could go a size smaller - but with the arm straps feeling like they do, that would not work. Larger would defeat the purpose of wearing one that actually fit. I am an apple shape with a big tummy. This top smoothes my abdomen and back but is not too constricting or uncomfortable. There are no bits that rub or pinch. I like how it has a scooped out back so is more versatile to wear with various outfits and it sits under the bust and gives slight lift (I'm DD). The straps show when wearing a sleeveles top but i found i can quite comfortably tuck the straps in if needed. Anna from Thailand

Personally I hate this product. I have been using another similar (as seen on TV) product for close to 3 years now that I love. But their customer service is not that good. I like the feel of the fabric used by Spanx and the construction. This garment does not provide enough compression and it doesn't exactly pinch it gouges in the rib and back area. Although I have discovered a solution to one of the problems that others are having with it riding up. First put on only your bra, step into your shaper, then put your panties or pantyhose on top of the shaper. It will stay in place all day. Sally from Texas

The Low Open Bust Cami was exactly what I was searching for in terms of style. It fit the way I was hoping it would. However I must say I was not satisfied with the comfort. It kept rolling up all day long and by the end of the day the shoulder straps were cutting my shoulders off, or at least that's how it felt. I chose the cami open bust SPANX because I am a little top heavy. I prefer to wear my minimizer bra and sometimes when I wear the SPANX scoop neck cami, it leaves a line across my boobs. I really like this cami, since I am a 34 DD and have a hard time finding one that does not create the uniboob effect. It does not show through most of my tops, it has a low enough back so you can wear it with different tops, and finally I did notice that it gives me a little lift. I gave this item 5 stars because of the quality of the product; it feels, looks like just as it says. However, this item is not true to the measurement sizing, according to it I should have been the M, which I purchased but it literally squeezes you to death, it's too hard to get on. So, I suggest getting a size or two up your deemed size. The great thing about HerRoom is their painless return option, I did this and I am awaiting the same item but a different size.
