The tough thing about buying a bra is that you need to wear it to judge how well you like it. Saying that, my only complaint so far is that the "wires" on the sides of the bra seem to stick out and I catch my arm on them sometimes. Also, as others have commented, adjustable straps would be good. Everything else seems to feel and fit wonderfully. Donna from PA/USA

The straps slip off my shoulders because there is no way to adjust them.

HerRoom Response: Thank you for your feedback. WE note that you claim to be petite in stature. All Spanx bras have non-adjusting straps. This is why Tomima called this out in her tip. If you are petite or tall, Spanx bras will probably not work for you. pam from marietta, pa

HerRoom Response: Yes, when a bra is riding up your back, you need to go down a band size. If the cups fit you in the 36C, you need to go up a cup size on the 34 band size. So, try this bra in a 34D. Glenda from Fort Mill, SC USA

I recently had heart surgery with access thru my ribs on the right side, which was incredibly painful. I had been going braless until I found this fabulous bra. Very comfortable over my incision. I am very happy with this product and may never go back to an underwire. April from Houston, Tx

I had major spine surgery in January 2009, in the lower thoracic area -- right under my bra strap. This bra is perfect because there is no closure in the back, no hooks or pressure on that area of my spine. My incision area is still sensitive, although entirely healed. This is a fabulously comfortable bra that does not "show" beneath my clothing. For 9 months of the year, I live in Arizona (dry heat) and this slightly padded (not embellished or push-up) bra is comfortable in the heat. We will see how I feel when we go to northwest Iowa to our summer lake house, where the temperature is normally in the 80's an 90's and the humidity around 95%. Sticky, sweaty, grungy, from the minute one gets out of bed. In that climate, I suspect I will be wishing that Spanx makes a non-padded bra with the same contour and design! elizabeth b from scottsdale az usa

I first tried this bra in a 34A, which is my normal size, and found the band kept riding up. So I tried a 32A and 32 B, which both fit better, however, they did not offer much lift or shaping -- the mostly flattened, like a sports bra. This bra is comfortable and the back is nice and smooth. The 32A was the best fit for me, but wasn't good enough to justify the high price so I returned them all. Lorrie from Pittsburgh

I wasn't able to adjust the straps. The straps were not sturdy enough therefore I had too much jiggle and not enough support. Otherwise, the fabric felt great and had enough padding. Tiffany from MS

This bra was recommended to me by a friend for its comfort value. I ordered my usual size, both size and cup. It is a very comfortable bra and I will order another but in the next size down because it rides up a bit under my breasts. I also worry that it will stretch out and be too big. I love this thing. I have a long torso, and I'd read comments on other sites about "long torsos beware", since the straps are not adjustable, but I love it! It's not riding up on me. It's just great.
