i just got this the other day and I LOVE IT! It feels great! tell you the truth i hated the bra strap thing so i cut straps off of a bra i didn't use and sewed them on, now its PERFECT! i like the t shirt look and now i can wear my favorite shirts without feeling like I'm bubbly all over. I am 4'11" and this garment seemed to be too short in the torso and kept rolling down and it is almost impossible to attach the tabs while wearing it. It left a gap on the sides and back with ugly bulges. Too bad it doesn't have built-in straps that could come up the outsides of the bra cups and have full coverage in the back - maybe it could have a thong incorporated in the style instead of the unibum look it has under pants. I just purchased one yesterday without even knowing the popularity of Spanx. I was shocked at the difference it made in my abdominal area!!! Very impressed. Now I can wear some things I haven't worn in ages!! The only complaint I do have is that if it is attached to your bra, you would have to literally remove your bra as well as the undergarment to use the bathroom....which I had to do last night. I agree so much with Heather. This is a truly wonderful garment but.... The split crotch is a real necessity. Please do imagine using a public facility. Unfaster shirt (and keep it off the floor); undo blouse; unhook front and back and roll garment down, Then do it all up again. Surely your own staff have had this experience.

HerRoom Response: You bring up a very good point. When we addressed this with Spanx, their comment was that you simply pull the crotch to the side in the restroom. We, however, agree that there should probably be a hook & eye crotch opening.

I bought this to wear under some clingy stuff last year. In retrospect, maybe I should have gotten the next smaller size, because the one I own has a few fit issues. The slimming support is awesome, and really does make one's shape a lot more streamlined. I wore this under a jersey wrap dress for a wedding in 90 degree weather last summer, and really stayed relatively comfortable. The issues I have with the bodysuit are the length of the torso...the top of this could easily come to my nipple line, and the straps that secure this bodysuit to the bra were constantly coming off, because there wasn't enough tension due to the height of the shaper. If I wore it lower, the crotch bagged between my thighs and rubbed uncomfortably. The crotch is another issue...couldn't they make it a split crotch? It's really hard to get this thing up and down, especially under clothes in a bathroom stall. I've ended up just holding the crotch to the side to use the bathroom, which just seems kind of gross! If I had it to do over, I would buy the Spanx thigh lenth Slim Cognito, as it has a split crotch, and covers more jiggle area.
