I am a big fan of Spanx. However, for this price, I was really expecting more. The initial pair I was sent was not sewn properly and came apart at the seams in the crotch area. Herroom quickly replaced that pair. I have happily worn the footless shapers in the past and usually find them in the $20 range. I did not find even the same level of control and shaping with this shaper, that cost three times the price! Betty from Washington, DC

I'm 5' tall, 100 lbs. The small fits well and because I'm petite it falls way above my natural waist. This is a plus for a smoother look. The shaper does smooth out my inner thigh nicely. The shaper provides an overall smooth look without the constriction of firm control. It is important to pull the leg portion of the panty down and smooth it out so it doesn't ride up. However, the waist does fall down and doesn't stay in place. Perhaps this is because it fits me above my waist. Joice from New Jersey

Wonderful aid for those of us who have no butt to speak of! This item comfortably lifts and indents the juncture between thigh and derriere while the rest of the shaper is comfortable and loose enough not to create any bulging at the waist or thighs. The thigh line does show through slightly through light-colored pants but you'd have to be looking for it to see it. Also, you can't wear it with skirts that pull up when you sit down without it showing, but there is a Spanx brief that works for skirts. Not good under pants. The leg band is pretty thick and shows through. I bought them to wear under white pants because I don't think the Spanx without the "great divide" look good under pants--they make your butt look flat. These are great for the butt, but you can see the line of the leg band even under dark pants.

HerRoom Response: For a smooth look under pants - especially white pants - the capri length or "long leg" shapewear pieces work best. They give one continuous controlled line down your leg.
