I have mixed feelings about this item. It DOES slim you, however there are many faults with this product. 1) I can NOT for the love of God get the garment on the bra like it shows on the pictures! I'm considering just sewing it on to my bra! 2) It is a PAIN in the ASS to take off and on when you need to go to the bathroom!, 3) It doesn't matter what size you get, it WILL roll!, 3) It also is not very comfortable, but if you're willing to deal with the discomfort in order to have that flatter stomach, then I gues it doesn't matter? Although 5'4", I am petite through waist. The XL was too long and felt like it wasn't doing any good. It still rolled down, and I expect to exchange for a L. Haven't tried the bra straps. Wore Friend's L on two occasions, had to pull it up a few times. Very comfortable. Does a good job with smoothing post baby fat. Michele from Sasebo, Japan

I return this item right after i tried it on. The back portion keeps slipping down. So uncomfortable, i even ordered the Large size to see if there would be any difference but still it did not do any good. I do not recommend this item at all. Irma from New York

I LOVE this product! I was very hesitant to spend this much money on something I wasn't sure would work, but I have been really pleased. I had a baby almost 5 weeks ago and although it does not work miracles, it really helps to smooth the bumps and shape everything up again while I work on losing the weight. I was glad that I read the reviews before ordering. I did order one size smaller than usual and was very glad that I did. Although pricey, it did let me wear a size 16 when I usually wear an eighteen. mary from missouri

I absolutely loved this shaper! It did everything it was supposed to do ,smoothed out all of my lumps and was very comfortable to wear,didn't dig in at all and never rolled down.I wore it to a wedding and had it on for twelve hours! "...........and the Bride wore Spanx!!" This product is a life saver. I hesitated and read all of the reviews and went for it...it absolutely made my wedding dress and day shine ..it was comfortable..easy to pull on and I did not have to "fight" with it like the old girdles...I want ten others. It is true to size, I could have actually gone down a size and it would have been fine. Mine did not roll at all..I used the straps. I, simply, could not have asked for more.......BUY it!! The item was perfect for what I was looking for to wear under a dress for a wedding. The legs didn't dig in at all or leave those horrible little bulges! This is a pretty well made garment, nice and slick fabric-it would be great under a dress and perhaps a skirt with a top. Problem was that i wore it with a t-shirt and jeans and every time I sat down, the jeans slipped down and the shirt rode up! lol! I wiggled way too much to adjust everything each time I got up! No bumps, nice and comfy. I have a short waist and the straps were a bit long, so i tucked the garment under my bra. My issue though was that when I tried it on (with my things on underneath) there were spots on it, and I needed it too soon to exchange it for another. So I was disappointed that the spots were missed when it obviously was a returned item. I've had other good experiences with HerRoom, so this one time won't sour my opinion about shopping again.

I am looking for the perfect hi shaper that will allow me to wear my own bras(which I love) This is not it! The straps are hard to attach. They do keep the shaper from rolling down in the front and sides but it falls down in back causing a back fat roll where I don't have one. Unfortunately, I had to wear it to find this out so pretty pricey and can't return. I may try sewing hooks and eyes with a similar colored bra but the search for that perfect shaper goes on. The security straps keep coming undone and the top rolls. I know it is the correct size. I tried my daughter's body suit on before I ordered. Satisfaction guaranteed - I worn it 2 times the first week I received it and was not satisfied but they won't let me return it. There is no satisfaction here. Just received the second item I ordered when I ordered the body suit.

This is the most comfortable and breathable shape wear I've ever worn! And that whole in the crotch comes in handy.. Warning- If you have curves this garment will enhance them, If you don't you'll still look like crap. It's a shaper not a miracle. If you are egg shaped I don't see this helping you. But if you have a hour glass figure you'll love it. The only thing I didn't like was that I have an ample round booty and it squished it in. If they ever figure out a way to make one of these that leaves your booty alone I would be so happy. I want my butt to look bigger lol. Sheena Q from NJ

I'm kind of short waisted and this garment is too long. Also, I have a question - how do you wear pantyhose with it? If you put the pantyhose on first and have to go to the toilet, it defeats the purpose of the open crotch of the spanx garment. But wearing pantyhose on top doesn't seem like a good idea either. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have another Spanx product that looks like this but does not attach to the bra. It is also a lighter weight fabric and very comfortable. I ordered the same size in this product and it was tighter, uncomfortable and rolled down. This product is not very good for a larger woman (I am a size 16). Wendi from NY/NY

I didn't really use the straps, instead tucked the bodysuit into the bottom of my bra. I love this product and will probably buy another. They are rather expensive, on the other hand they were great when it came to smoothing my post-baby belly! Thanx Spanx! Me Maclin from USA

You get what you see however, the straps to hook onto the bra are not adjustable so if you have a smaller torso (if you are shorter like me) then you can't strap it to the bra and the top keeps rolling down. It holds everything in pretty well but its more like putting on tights then putting on body-shaper. Zory from Washington, DC
