Good fit. Hard to get it on the first time, but once on, it really smoothes things out and eliminates that dreaded waistline roll. I've recently purchased this item. I haven't wore it yet but will in few weeks to a wedding. I did try it on under a form fitting dress and it helps smooth out all those buldges. I had a baby 6 mo. ago so, I still have some weight to go. Madison from San francisco

Too large. I should have followed the sizing chart not the suggestion to buy the same size Shaper as my pantyhose. My comment may be exclusive though to those of us who face 100 degrees daily starting in June. The Shaper was only to make a single impression on new in-laws, 3 states north of here. Did not make me thin, just smoothed out the bulges and made the outfit look more elegant. Other reviews were very helpful. Honesty in ordering the size is a must. I have it on as I am typing this. It's wonderful, not restricting and amazingly comfortable. Does not roll down AT ALL. When I sit my own rolls are gone however, I'm sure they will re-appear when I take it off. Great product. Dixie from Lancaster, Pa USA

I ordered the size that put me right in the middle of the size chart range. It was so small I couldn't even put it on. The waist band also seems very bulky. But since I couldn't get it on I really can't judge! Ellen from NY

I bought these to wear under a bridesmaid dress that I have to wear just 4 weeks after having my second child--yikes! I think they do a great job at all over smoothing but I think I should have looked for a product that focused on tummy control. I still have quite a poochy belly from being pregnant and these don't do a whole lot to reign it in. If you're looking for moderate all over smoothing, this is a great product. I was between two sizes and I went up one size as recommended. Spanx does not feel like a girdle though you have to wiggle into it. It felt really good on. It smoothes and firms the giggling parts. One problem is that although I'm average height, I'm on the shorter end of that average and if I bent over or raised my arms in my short dress, Spanx was just visible. Ellen from New Jersey

I didn't have a hard time putting these on, and the gusset crotch really is convenient. The waistband actually stays up and doesn't roll down. I can even tuck it under my bra. I love my higher power. It smooths the lumps and bumps under all my clothing. Being only 5' I was a little concerned that it would be too long for me, but I was excited to see that it fit just fine. I agree with other reviewers who say to be honest and pick the correct size for yourself. Don't be embarrassed, no one is judging you on the size you're wearing, but they sure will if it's too small. This shaper comes up MUCH higher than the picture shows. It is a workout just to put it on (I did order the correct size according to the guide, but perhaps pantyhose sizing is not accurate enough for a shaping garment). Material does not stretch as much as I thought it would; it feels unyielding and uncomfortable. Worst feature: there is absolutely no shaping in the rear, so it flattens rather than shape your bottom. Lili from Piriapolis, Uruguay
