The first time I wore them they were not as comfortable as my Calida panties, but after washing they worked great for my gym workouts. I've bought 2 more pair! Vanessa from Orlando

Fits better than other models I tried but cost a lot more too. Doesn't ride up but I wish it were made of nicer fabric. I had to order L and XL because the size chart was not up on their web site when I ordered which annoyed me because in order to see if they work you have to wear them for a day. Then you can't return, and there's added shipping to exchange. But overall, it's the best alternative I've found out there for summer wear with skirts.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry you did not see our size chart. It has been available on our site since the day we started carrying this item. Nancy from CA, USA

Finally! I had the idea of these in my mind and could not believe no one made them until I found these! I'm 5'5, 125 pounds, slim, but needed something for under different styles of gym pants. Cannot deal with the thong thing any more, and hate panty lines. Boy shorts are too short and roll up. These do the trick. Low enough at the top that they don't stick out, long enough at the bottom that they don't roll up. I hand wash them, and they do dry fairly quickly (wash them in the evening, they will be dry early morning). I got the small, which fits just fine. Eventually, I will be buying a second pair. Just that price is kind of high. Vicki from Florida

I was really disappointed by the length of my Smartypants. On a size 14/16 with full thighs they are far shorter than on the model in the picture and don't do much for chaffing. And what's worse is that the already short leg rides up when you walk. Not ideal for a New Yorker on the go in the summer time. I only wear my Smartypants under shorter skirts so I can give them a subtle (I hope!) tug when the leg rides up. They are pretty light weight so if you're looking for a panty to go under your athletic wear or are lucky enough not to have to worry about chaffing thighs, I would recommend these. Ladies with long legs and thick thighs, stay away!! D from New York, New York

These are great! I am an equestrienne and it's important to find comfortable underwear to wear under our breeches. These dry quickly, don't bunch up and are $$ less than other underpants designed for riders. The size is generous, I could actually wear a size smaller, I'm sure. I will buy more Smarty Pants, for certain. LAURIE from Rhode Island

I like the fabric and the fit. No panty lines. It's not constricting. The only thing i didnt like is the cut in the crotch area ( they, hmm.. ride up). mandy from new york

Normally I would wear a medium but a small fits perfectly. I LOVE this garment. It fits right under the navel so it doesn't show at the waist under low cut garments. It is comfortable--no wedgies, no riding up. It dries super fast after washing and wicks sweat and is also soft, thick, and cozy. It keeps my upper inner thighs from chafing. It's invisible under clothes, no panty lines. It was comfortable in May in Hawaii (hot--in the 80's) and New Zealand (where it's winter and it gets into the 30's) What I don't like is that after one day of wearing and walking, the fabric on the inner thighs pilled considerably. Maybe the manufacturer should be informed about this problem. Annoying. This is the underwear I have searched for, for years. Thank you! Oh, and did I say it came in a couple of days, even to Hawaii? Wear it every day in the summer under dresses and skirts. No chafing! So comfortable, thin, no panty lines. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I have been in search of a garment that would help me avoid chaffing between my thighs when wearing a skirt and this is it! I hate those super constricting bodywear garments that roll down at the waste and create muffins on my thighs. These are great but they do run big so go down a size. I have three pair now and live them! Wish there was a higher wasted option though!!! Shel from Los Angeles, CA. USA

SmartyPants are very comfortable and do the job I wanted them for, which is protecting my thighs from chafing when I wear skirts without tights or hose. I like that they are not girdle-tight like all the other undergarments I've found that cover the thighs. As for fit, I'm an apple-shaped size 16, and the Large fits fine. XL would be way too big on me. A woman from Seattle

I am sooooooo glad I found these! They will allow me to wear skirts without chafing, and without having to resort to constricting "shapewear." The back rise is a little shorter than I would like, given I have larger hips/butt, but it fits fine. The rec. to size down is correct. Fabric is very very stretchy, so I imagine it doesn't matter too much either way. SusyQ from NH

I am so excited about these -- they will allow me to wear skirts comfortably, without chafing, and without having to wear pantyhose. I suspect they're also going to be good for hiking. In fact, I suspect I'm going to want to wear them all the time! Pros: Very stretchy (they do run large), no panty lines or bulging, very light and comfortable (they are NOT shapewear). Small con: could use more rise in the back for us girls with larger bottoms. SusyQ from Nashua, NH

This is the perfect thing to wear when working out. I could not believe the comfort of these panties! My biggest problem with panties that are long come when the legs tend to create a line under my jeans. These panties did not leave the awkward lines in my jeans that let everyone know I was wearing them. Kristin from Dallas, Texas

I was looking for something to wear under skirts in the hot, humid Florida summers. I did not want shapewear, because I didn't want the fit to feel tight. These are exactly what I was looking for. They are comfortable and not binding at all. There are no leg or "muffin top" bulges. Very smooth under clothes and they don't ride up. I am definitely ordering another pair! Dianne from Florida

Love them, love them, love them. I wear them for active sports and they stay where I put them (no crawling up). I'll be getting a whole week's worth! Cassie from Missouri

I had high hopes for these but unfortunately found a few flaws: They retained odor more than my regular cotton/spandex underwear, the leg band rode up frequently while I was walking (and I'm sure I'm wearing the correct size) and the worst is that the fabric is already pilling in between the thighs and I've only washed and worn them three twice. I have searched and spent lots of money on a drawer of panties to wear under yoga wear. I teach yoga and live in a very hot climate. By the end of the day I could not wait to rip off my saturated and irritating panty-yoga pant combo. I can honestly say I stay dry and no wedgies making me a comfy and happy yoga teacher. yoga girl from Tucson az

Finally I found the perfect undergarment for wearing a skirt! I am a size 14 and love to wear skirts however with large thighs chafing is an issue. This is perfect as it sits just below waist, is lightweight and doesn't hold heat or make me sweat, and it is UNDETECTABLE under my clothing. I would suggest this item to anyone wanting to eliminate chafing or just wanting something comfy under skirts. Lori from Vandalia, IL US

Finally!! A panty to wear under work-out clothes that does not ride up or show panty lines. I can now go to the gym without being self-conscious about underwear lines-these panties compliment the wearer! They do ride up in the crotch slightly, but is better than panty lines! I simply hand wash & hang to dry. gardengirl from Kansas

These are great for exercising. They give a nice shape under workout clothes. They wick away moisture and prevent chafing in the thigh area and are totally comfortable. They seem to run a little larger than normal. I would order a size smaller since they need to fit under clothes. Like other fabrics of this type, they recommend avoiding fabric softeners which creates more laundry loads. I will definitely buy 2 more pairs one size smaller. nolagirl26 from New Orleans, LA

These are wonderfully comfortable, and feel much better under slacks, jeans, and skirts than do the more expensive ASSETS or SPANX. They also look great, and I love the fact that panty lines are nonexistent!!!!!!! I am tall, with a correspondingly long rise, so do wish these panties were cut a little longer in the back rise. By the time I've got them pulled up enough to stay above my fanny, they don't look quite like the photo above!! The front rise is fine but, for a tall woman with a long torso, the back dimensions could be a little bit longer. Sharon from Greer, SC

These are so comfortable and I don't have to worry about chafing when I wear skirts on hot summer days. I was worried that the rise would be quite high (like granny panties) but they fit low on the hips just like regular underwear. I want to buy another pair! Allison from MN

these are really great to prevent chafing. i can finally wear skirts without tights! the material is really soft and cotton-like. i am an all-cotton girl so i was apprehensive about the polyester, but they're made so that they breathe! the reason i didn't give 5 stars is because they do roll up my thigh a bit when i sit down. they run large, so order one size smaller than the size chart recommends.
