This is my second order for this sports bra. Once I found the right fit, it is the best bra on the market for aerobic classes for women with larger breasts! Christine from Sussex, NJ USA

I have an older-model Shock Absorber that I LOVE - it gives very little movement. The front on these is lower than the front on my older model, and the top hook in the back is much higher. If I hadn't been spoiled by my older model this style would be fine; but since I know what Shock Absorber is capable of, I had to return these.

Shock Absorber Response: This style offers maximum support. Some women find the high racerback hook difficult to close, so I recommend closing it before putting it over your head then clasping the band hook and eye closure. Hope this helps! Pam from Durham, NC

THIS IS THE BEST SPORTS BRA EVER! I have had this bra for 2 years and it has held up (and held them in) wonderfully! I don't feel smushed together in this bra. My breasts don't go anywhere even while running or jumping. I love that you can adjust the back to lift your breasts as much as you want, too. This is definitely worth the price. One thing I should mention though is that the band size runs a tad tight (well it should, it's a sports bra) but normally 30 fits me just fine even on the middle hook but this one feels pretty tight even on the last hook. So if you barely fit into the size of your regular bra and you're ordering this one it might be a good idea to order a band size up. :) Lauryn from Oklahoma

This thing works the way it says it will, and it's something you can stand to actually wear. It's reasonably comfortable and not too hot. And really does minimize bounce. I've tried a few different athletic bras and this one is in a class of it's own. Ellen from Lake Mills/WI/USA

Very comfortable and good support. I like that the straps are very adjustable. Being petite and with narrow shoulders, I had to shorten the shoulder straps considerably before I got the best support. The seamless interior is very comfortable and soft. Awesome for running. Stacie from Bradfordsville/KY/USA

The band is really snug, but it’s very soft and miraculously it does not chafe, even after a 15 mile run. There is almost no bounce, and the location of the straps keeps them from digging into your shoulders and allows complete freedom of arm/shoulder motion. The bra dries quickly and releases heat (even Texas heat!) I love this sports bra. As others have pointed out, the biggest issue is that it can be a struggle to get it hooked. The only improvement I can think of would be that it also comes in great colors (in all the sizes) - my vote is for hot pink! This is the best running bra I have ever owned! Annette from Austin, TX

In my opinion this is the best running bra on the market for this size. Excellent support, but soft and elastic material that prevents chafing. Also highly adjustable. Only minor criticism would be the relatively high price, but in my opinion it's worth it. Very good quality that can last many miles. Nora from New York

Really happy with this bra! I typically wear a 34E but sized up to a 36E after reading the reviews and it fits quite nicely! It might have been true to size but it still functions well and at least I have a new sports bra while I order a size down and see how it fits. The top clasp is a bit awkward at first but was easy once I figured it out. Would definitely buy this bra again. Elizabeth from Pittsburgh

One hook was released during a run because the eye (which is just molded to the lower strap) came off. Very annoying! The bra was just 2 month old, washed and air-dryed as suggested by the manufacturer. I think it's poor quality for the high price. Kerstin from Worcester

Seems to be designed for more rounded figure women and does not give as much comfort and protection as the other Shock Absorber model B4490. Disappointing for this price category. Francoise from Mexico

This is a great bra and I love the between the shoulder clasp as it does add a bit more support. However, I will still be "double bra-ing" it for the exercising I do (high impact stuff). I was really hoping to find a bra that would provide enough support and reduce "bounce" enough all on its own, but I doubt that is possible with 32Fs!!! I do also have an Enell high impact sports bra and also wear it doubled!

Shock Absorber Response: Glad you like the Run bra fit and support. You may also like our Max sports bra top B4490, as this also offers maximum support. Misty from Kansas/USA

I think that this bra is overpriced. The quality of the stitching was not that good. I felt as though after a couple washes in the machine, it would start to come apart. I did like the fit, but the material and workmanship of the bra was not worth the asking price for this bra. I bought a different style shock absorber for half this price and it was much better quality.

Shock Absorber Response: The Run bra is priced the same on all websites. Shock Absorber is a quality product and has not had an issue with coming apart in the wash, in fact they last a long time if cared for correctly- machine wash, hang dry. This style is more technical in use of material and styling, therefore is more expensive than the other bras in the collection. Wisdomrules from Usa

Excellent support! I love this bra. I can even jog in it. I have never found a bra prior to this one that I could do jog, jump whatever and not bounce. In this bra there is NO bounce-fabulous! And I love the racerback because of where the straps hit,a little hard to get used to fastening but no problem once you get used to it. Deb from sterling heights, MI

Finally! I have been searching high and low for a sports bra for YEARS! This is the 4th one that I ordered from HerRoom (and probably the 12th that I've ordered for everywhere) - and the first I didn't return! The others were either not supportive enough for jogging and resulted in my chest hurting and needing to stop, OR caused awful pooching of my boobs out of the top of the bra (even though I ordered the correct size!). My normal bras are 32G - but I went a couple of cup sizes down to make sure I got good support. Seems like the bands run a tad small too, so I had to go up a size there. But overall I'm super happy with it. It is a little bit of a pain to get on - but if you leave the back clasp clasped together all of the time and just slip it on like a t-shirt, it's much easier. Once you get it on sometimes I have trouble getting the extra length of the shoulder straps tucked in correctly so that they aren't twisted uncomfortable under the straps, but once they are in place this bra really holds you in place! I was expecting the bra to be a bit small but the fit was perfect. The bra was very supportive as well as comfortable during and after a good workout. My only frustration is the difficulty in getting it on and especially taking it off. If there is a downside, that would be it. Bonnie from WA USA

This bra is great for all of you who wear three bras to run in. I hate my bust, but this bra helps keep it under wraps! I would recommend this for anyone who doesn't wanna bounce while they run... Amy from Eureka, CA, U.S.

The support is unbelievable! When I first put it on it was a bit of a struggle, and the back it pretty tight. {I am one of those mama's who doesn't like anything tight} So I wasn't sure if I would like it. But as I started running I forgot all about it. It was incredible how something like this can make your day:) I have never bought a better supportive sports bra. I highly recommend it!
