The cup support of this bra seemed very good - minimizes bounce. But, the chest band would not lay flat in front, and compromised the support. I wouldn't recommend it for people with small band size (I'm a 32). Diana from CA

The only sports bra that's actually supported me. Submitted from TheUndies.com

Size chart is inaccurate. I'm a 36I so by your chart I ordered a 36G and GG to be safe. The GG is way too small to even be considered a close match. Very disappointed. Emily L. from Santa Cruz, CA

Overall, this bra has worked well. Since I purchased it several months ago I have lost almost 20 pounds so it's beginning to fit a little loose. Other reviewers said it was very difficult to get on and off. This was true initially, but I have mastered it now and can do it on my own. The bra fits well and is comfortable. No chafing at all. My one and only complaint...the uni-boob look since the very first day I wore the bra. Other than that, a great bra. Now I just need to purchase a smaller one since I've lost weight and it's loose around my rib cage. Barb from Santa Barbra, CA USA

Fits well. The best coverage I have found in a racer back. I haven't gone out for a jog, but I feel comfortable enough in the bra to give it a shot. Kimberly from El Cerrito

This is a great sports bra for big chested girls! The only annoying thing, but you get used to it, is the hooks in the back. A little tricky to do at first. Great support, the thing must weigh a good pound on its own but it holds the girls up even when I'm running, jumping, etc. Definitely recommend! from Boston, MA

Great support and fit. Two separate hooks work great but they're a pain to secure them. Always have to ask somebody to help me secure it which makes it annoying at times. Overall B+ Magnolia2481 from New York

I have such a hard time finding bras that fit me and, until now, it was impossible to find a sports bra that fits. This bra is a bit tight, but it actually covers all of my massive breasts and hold them up. It's a bit hard to get in and out of, but once I'm in it, it holds me firmly in place. As with a lot of women my age, my breasts are heavy and not at all firm, making it necessary to have full coverage. If the coverage isn't good, when I bend over, they fall out the top. This doesn't happen with the Shock Absorber Max. Wires are so uncomfortable and I just don't wear them. This holds me up without wires. It isn't ideal, since it creates a uniboob that is massive, but it's better than them hanging to my navel. I don't jog, but if I need to hurry a little, they don't bounce out of my bra. It's also a bit easier on the shoulders. The only thing ideal for my breasts would be a reduction. This is the next best thing. Debbie from Houston, TX, USA

Finding a sports bra that fits comfortably and supports me was like finding the Holy Grail! This is the second Shock Absorber Sports bra I've purchased from Her Room. I couldn't be happier. Laurie from FAIRVIEW

As most have previously stated, the top closure is a toughie, but I manage it with relative ease. It holds the ladies in without making me feel like my breasts are up to my eyeballs, and is made of good breathable material. All in all, I couldn't be happier. Tiffany from BC, Canada

Being so large breasted it is nearly impossible to find an attractive and well fitting sports bra. This is exactly what I was looking for. Great fit, great support and great appearance. It's a nice feeling being able to feel "normal" in a sports bra. Thank you for catering to larger breasted women. Lisa from Missouri

Truly the ONLY bra that lives up to the name-absolutly no bounce!!! Before getting this bra, I had nearly given up on high impact exercise because it hurt too much. I searched for a great workout bra while I was nursing and trying to loose the baby weight as soon as the 6 wks was up (high impact exercise). It was a bit difficult to close myself, however, it is definitely worth the price! I will be using it again for the next baby weight recovery :) Stacey from WI, USA

Love this sports bra. Definitely no need to double up because it keeps everything in place. Only other thing that I would say is that you should order a cup bigger than what you think because I ordered the size that I measured and it's a little tight. Lucia from Chelsea, MA

Great bra - holds the girls in place, however there are two setbacks: 1) My husband has to hook the upper part of the bra. There is the regular hookups and then another set between the shoulder blades. I cannot have this hooked up before I put the bra on - it's impossible. 2) It gives me the Uni-Boob and then they get sweaty and then I breakout. I LOVE my Shock Absorber Arc-Control Sports Bra B5046 - as I don't get the Uni-Boob, however the biggest cup size is DDD and I'm now a GG. Karisa from Minnesota

I walked into every sports store looking for support to hold the "girls" at a locked and loaded position, only to be left disappointed each and every time. I had even went to my specialty bra shop that I think is AMAZING; however, they didn't have what I was looking for. I don't like buying online because I can't be sure it will fit, but this bra is very very true to size. I LOVE IT!!! I am a 38G and I run 2 to 4 miles at least every other day. This bra is great if you are looking for a high impact bra and you don't want black eyes while running. I would suggest it to anyone. Plus it crosses in the back and that feature is hard to find. I can't wait to order more. It is WELL worth the money!!!! Amy from Oklahoma

I have always had large breasts, but in my second trimester of pregnancy, I had a terrible time finding bras to fit. I was excited to try the Shock Absorber bra and at first I was not disappointed. It feels good, and I love the construction of it. However, I do not feel as secure as I would like to. I am still happily wearing it often to walk, work out, and do yoga. Sasha from NYC

I'm normally a 32G to 32GG, so per the sizing chart for this bra, I went down to a 32FF. A little breast tissue peeks over the top (maybe I should ordered a G?), however, since sports bras need to be tight I'm keeping it. This one does a GREAT job of holding my breasts close to my chest and has very comfortable, padded straps. Laura

Probably the best sports bra I've ever bought. Support without mashing. I wore it for over 12 hours yesterday and only at a bit of itching at the back. This may be due to the fact that I have very sensitive skin. A few more washings should soften it up enough to be perfect. I could live without the high price but it is worth it. Mightymom from CA

I guess I'm in the minority here in my opinion of this bra. I'm a 30D and have an extremely difficult time with sports bras. I usually wear a 00 in the Enell, but really wanted something less bulky and maybe more flattering. I bought this bra for running, but I felt like I wasn't even wearing a bra. That's how much bounce I had. The front of the bra is so low that I felt like I would pop out any minute. For me, this bra does not do the trick for running, so I'm back to the Enell. In all fairness, the band fit perfectly. I would order your true band size. I will use this for weight training, elliptical and bike riding. sent to vendor Lynn from Austin, Texas

A great bra. Doesn't completely eliminate bounce, but that might be because I bought a 34DD when I really wear a 34DDD. I would rather have it be too tight than too loose, though. It still fits, just not perfectly. But what I love is that there is NO stretch! None! Even the mesh on the back of the bra isn't stretchy. I recommend buying your normal bra size. Best sports bra I've owned so far, but I'm still gonna keep searching for the perfect one. Cara from NY
