I didn't know whether I needed the large or the 1X, I had ordered a similar gown (the one with the net bosom) in an X Large and it fit. I ordered the 1X when given the choice of large or X Large and I am bottom heavy. I would go up one size in this gown. It is spectacular, but I haven't washed it yet. Linda from Kansas City, MO

I debated whether to order this size or a large from the smaller sizes. I am curvy so I opted for this size and am glad I did as it fits my curves much better. The straps are a little tricky--they tie together through the gown and can be a little difficult to adjust--but the gown is beautiful and classy while still being extremely sexy.
