So happy that I went with the XL after much debate. I have a large cup size (DD-DDD) and while the cup IS open, I wanted to be sure that the underwire fell at the appropriate place. I am a size 12, generally average sized and build, and thought that the rest of this piece may be too large, but it fit well. The other reason I am happy to have gone up a size was the torso length, as others mentioned. I am only 5'3" and had this item been any shorter in the torso, it really would have made movement feel uncomfortable and the opening on the bottom wouldn't have "lined up" for such fun and easy access for my husband. He loved it and we were impressed that the fabric caused absolutely no irritation for him or me. Typically these type of fabrics end up "rubbing the wrong way" after a while, but not this time! Ordered this item for my wedding night figured everything was coming off anyway so why not give him easy access to all parts and still be able to keep it on...It fit perfect true to size (according to the size chart) I was going to order a 2X glad I didn't because it definitely would've been too small/tight around my hips. My only gripe is that I had to work my breast through the cup opening because I am a G cup (44G to be exact) but once I got them through it fit like a charm (especially because of the under wire) even though it's designed for a c/d cup (I believe)...He absolutely loves it!!! WOW!! This makes her look fantasticly sexy! I guessed right on the fit. The size chart would have put her in an XL, but that wasn't available, and most things like this run a little small.
