Shadowline

Shadowline has long been a favorite brand of women's sleepwear and lingerie. Founded in 1946, Shadowline products were known for classic style, excellent workmanship and high quality materials.  Shadowline is now owned by Velrose Lingerie and fans of the brand are thrilled to see their Shadowline favorites back in production. The line offers nightgowns, camisoles, robes, pajamas, panties and slips.

Shadowline nightgowns come in several styles fabricated in a silky nylon that is extremely soft, with a flattering flowing cut. Some styles feature a lace seamed bodice and others have a pretty stretch lace yoke. Shadowline pajama sets are equally popular for their comfortable styling, lively color choices and easy care fabrication. Robes complement some Shadowline gown styles, making for elegant matching sets.

Shadowline also offers several styles of slips, including hard-to-find long half slips.  They also make full slips with pretty lace trimmed bodices and short 27 inch slips. Although difficult to find in stores, HerRoom carries a versatile collection of Shadowline slips.

The brand's panties also have an ardent following, with some women telling us they've been wearing Shadowline exclusively for years. Styles include briefs, hipster panties and high leg briefs. Women tell us they love the perfect fit and the unusually silky material.

Many Shadowline garments are available in both average and plus sizes. Some gowns and pajamas range to sizes extra large and 3X. Panties are available in sizes 5 through 11, the equivalent of 3X.  With their classic designs, great fit and silken materials, styles like Shadowline's never go out of fashion. Now, with the purchase by Velrose Lingerie, we should be seeing Shadowline lingerie and sleepwear for years to come.
