Smooths okay, sizing was fine. I'm 5'8", size 16 dress. I normally wear an XL top, L bottom... only thing I would like more if the garment came up higher in the back to better smooth that unsightly "back fat". I ordered this one size larger as was suggested by previous comments and am glad I did so. I love the way this helps to show off my curves or rather helps create curves where I want them. It feels great and not too binding. The only negative is that it rides up but when it does it isn't noticeable. ranchermom

Overall I really love this slip. It takes me from a size 10/12 to 8/10 and further enhances my houseglass shape. It is comfortable and no seaming means you cannot tell I have it on. The slip is cut high enough on the bottom, that it does not show when you sit (I wear sheath dresses cut just above the knee, which normally ride to about mid-thigh when I sit). Some criticisms, it can be a bit hard to get on and off due to it's tightness, but that is kind of the point. Sometimes it rolls in on itself when you go to take it off and moving it down off your body is next to impossible. Second criticism would be that the bottom of the slip can ride up when walking around, I am finding myself pulling it back down fairly regularly. HOWEVER, even when it does ride up you can't actually see that through the clothes - there is no bunching etc - so points for that. I do love that it comes in under the bra, I have other spanx/slips that try to be a bra too and that doesn't work for this full busted chickie. Renee from Cumming, GA

I can't believe these garments are 2x more like large, Have used Bali and fits like a glove, these products were way too small for a 2x.

This product is ok. I am not terribly impressed with it but have decided to keep it since it might work with certain dresses. First off, I also recommend that you size up in this. I know the point is for it to be tight, but at 5'2", 115 lbs, the size medium is tight enough. Any tighter and I don't see how anyone could wear this for more than 2 hours. The closure at the crotch is not very comfortable at all, the fabric feels quite rough and stiff. I do have another shaping slip with the same crotch closure and it is perfectly comfortable. Unfortunately, this one is not. You may find yourself visiting the ladies' room a few times in order to re-adjust it. The other problem with this slip, which I anticipated, are the seams along the back of the slip. The seams that run behind the backside completely show on certain dresses. The dress I bought this for specifically, it will work fine because the dress is black and slightly loose. However, I was hoping to use it with other garments and it won't work with everything. I have another dress that is more fitted and the seams are very unsightly running along your backside. I was thinking this might be a problem so I was not completely surprised. Keep this in mind if you are considering this piece. If you want to wear it under a tight solid-colored dress, you will likely see the seams along the back. Also, the slip has a sort of built-in panty that I was not expecting. I was worried that it would create VPL but I tried it with 3 different dresses and it seemed OK. I will keep this because the price was affordable and I will get enough use out of it, so long as I pair with the right pieces.

Ordered this in a XL instead of my normal L and the fit was perfect. Ordered it to wear under a cocktail dress for our cruise in 3 weeks. It smooths everything out and is perfect length. I don't like this slip at all. It rides up every time you sit down and bunches up.

I ordered this in a sz Med. I can wear some sz, M,s, but this one runs a little small......giving it to my sister, and i will order the sz.
