I tried 6 different styles of moderate rise, slimming band panties, but returned these. The waistband and leg openings tended to cut in on me and they weren't the most comfortable of the lot. But they offer a more attractive option than the typical plainer panties, especially for someone with smaller thighs. My measurements are 5' 3", 135 lbs, 30" waist, 42" hip. Jill from NH
