i LOVE my Rago Lacette Open Bottom Body Briefer! based on other reviews i read, i went down a cup size which was the right choice for me. it fits perfectly. the briefer covers everything it needs to, and is extremely comfortable to wear and easy to get into (i recommend stepping in, as i do for most shapewear prodcuts). The cups are lined (no censor bar needed!) and the design is simply beautiful. Great under clothes for a night out or by itself for a night in! izzie from New Castle/IN/United States

My bra size is a 38DD, but I am able to wear the 40D Rago Lacette Open Bottom body briefer with good results. I'm beyond thrilled with the quality of the garment, and I am absolutely delighted with the fit & comfort. Nothing binds or pinches, yet it provides the control I was wanted form fitting dresses. I really like this item. I am nearly 6'1" and it fits pretty well surprisingly. I dont really know if it does any shaping - I still feel like I look the same with it on versus without it, but also, I am young, so that may play a factor. I really just wear these to feel a sort of sexy confidence. The main problem I have is that the garter belts sometimes hurt my thighs, which are plenty thick. I ordered a high waist panty girdle because I do not always want to have the pointy boob look, and I want to wear rago without thigh high stockings. Ashley from CA

This all in one shaper is an absolute MUST HAVE for anyone who enjoys wearing form fitting dresses! It is very comfortable, and after fiddling with the straps and cups for a little bit it looked amazing on me. The six garter clips are NON removable, so keep that in mind (also that extra clip on either side is genius). I have a short torso, and was worried this garment would be too long for me. Luckily that is not the case! I am planning on buying another one in black, so I can wear it more easily with my darker dresses. I have worn this shapeware under a back brace for over 25 years. It keeps the brace from chafing my skin, and also gives a lot of support. The open bottom is very convenient and also reduces the irritation which can develop with closed bottoms. The garters anchor my back brace from riding up.... I'm 5'2 and 126lbs. I love the look of retro shapewear and lingerie. Unfortunately, they don't make this garment in my size (32DD); however, after reading the reviews that said this garment ran small.. I decided to go with it and ordered a size 34D. It's pretty hard trying to get the garment on - I guess that's shapewear for you, ha - but once I had it on, the snug fit felt like a second skin (I agree, and recommend you order a size up). Since I'm usually a DD, the cups were definitely too small, but it did do a pretty good at holding in my muffin top. I will note that there was some slight rippling on the back part, but that may just be due to the fact that I don't have the longest torso. Other than that, I think it's super cute! More motivation to loose some weight so it'd fit better in all the right places ;] D.

I just had a pin-up photo shoot in this garment and it worked perfectly. Its very snug (as a body briefer should be) and smoothed my curves very well, I looked sexy in the garment and have had a lot of compliments on the photos. I ordered a 48D instead of a 46D but find the 48D fits me nice. A little small sized (The Garment) in the bust area for me but will make due, have to loose some weight :). Very comfortable to wear over a long day. Sandra from Stafford CT USA

According to my measurements, I'm a 40C. This item did not fit my bust, it was too tight. Very very minimal stretch, which was unfortunate. It also was impossible to fit over my hips or waist, so returned it. I'm curvy, which is why I bought a body briefer. This item is not meant to sleek curves, it's meant to encase you in a retro sarcophagus of lace.

Rago Response: The breast mass is different for a full range of women. It’s possible your mass is different than the range of our sizing for this one piece garment. We suggest two garments, Rago 2202 long line bra with expandable cups for the top, and matching Rago 6207 high waist for the bottom. The two together should give you a perfect fit. As others have mentioned, the sizing of this item is unfortunate. I'm a curvy lady, and ordering by bra size has proven frustrating. I would suggest that anyone pear shaped order a size or two larger. It would behoove HerRoom to provide actual garment measurements or some official guideline on sizing that might help out those many of us whose bodies are of a less standard shape.

Rago Response:This is correct, the sizing on one piece garments are difficult. These garments were only sold in corset shops, but with the advent of the internet and fewer corset shops sizing of these garments as far as the consumer is concerned is problematic. Completely adorable. Pointy cups which I love, but be aware. Will fit about 5'4" to MAYBE 5'7" will not fit shorter or taller gals. A hard-working garment that not only really shapes you but is something you want to be seen in, too! Katherine R

Rago Response:One piece fittings from stock garments is difficult based on the various body type differences. Please try a 40DD. The length will not vary so if the length is not acceptable this garment is not for you. jj from usa

Love my Rago! Smooths my bulges and creates streamlined curves, has that authentic vintage look that I wanted. Clean lines and sexy shaping! The only "problems" I had with it was the length, but that is because my torso is longer and my bum is really round, so it makes the bottom of the Rago sit just above where I would like it to fit (right above my the bottom of my bum, and not over it like the model in the picture) But that is NOT the garments fault. The other issue is the "points" need to be filled, but I know where to find the "bullet bra fillers" that will work to fill out the cups for that "perky" effect! :) Thanks HerRoom! Rebecca from MN
