About a month ago, I saw the holidays coming and like a lot of women, I knew I would look better in my holiday dresses if I lost 15 pounds. But there was no way I could realistically do that. So I bought this and I started wearing it all the time -- so I'd get used to it. Here's what happened. I look so much better, it's just amazing. It holds me in and, well that makes a big difference. So, ... the holiday parties have been just wonderful. Heather from Chicago, IL

It's difficult to put on, as the hooks just don't seem to want to link up. I have to be really careful not to break a fingernail. That's the bad part. The good part is that once it's on it's perfect. It keeps my tummy absolutley flat, absolutely. And, it pulls my in on the side, so I have curves, real curves. Is it comfortable? Well you do know you're wearing it. But considering what it does, it's acceptable. So, if you need to look your best -- all day -- this is about as perfect a garment as you can buy. Lydia from San Francisco

It's absolutely perfect when I want to wear those special party dresses. It pulls me in where I want and never rolls down. I just love it. Gina from Dallas, TX

I must wear support garments because of a hernia, and, being of short stature I always find them too long and terribly uncomfortable. The "bones" in this garment are short enough not to cut into my legs when I sit down, and the support is excellent and the comfort is divine. I will order more! Teresa from Wake Forest, NC USA

This is nice, but it does have some problems. I have a long torso, and this isn't long enough. For the best fit, I need to wear it centered on my center. This means that there is the muffiny area above the cincher and below the bra line and the area of lower belly beneath the cincher. I'm a bariatric patient and I've lost nearly 100 pounds so far, with some more to go. I have tons of loose skin and extra flab so I was hoping the boning and support would be helpful.

The boning is disapointing in the way most boning is in these sort of products-- it isn't strong enough. I have never tried steel boning, I think that is what I need. With the plastic boning I have always had issues where it just bends rather than supports and holds and shapes. Where is the bone part! This does help when added to my shapeware ensamble however. I've discovered in order to actually look good in a close fitting dress, I need multiple layers: First I put on my spanx hide and sleek high rise body smoother. Then the waist cincher. Then over this goes slimpressions to help with the upper torso and arms and back. At this point, I can finally put on my clothes.

This product stays in place reasonably well-- better than the svelt belt and it is mostly comfortable. For more active days-- like when I'm crawling around the floor and then moving around and dancing then who knows what (I work with kids), it can get uncomfortable from shifting. bookgoddess from IL

I did not like this. The material is stiff and rough, but ok I would've dealt with it. The real problem is the construction. The strongest elastic sits right at the sides of the waist, which cinches my waist, but not so much the hips - so it ends up creating not a smooth line from waist to hip, but cinched waist - huge hips type of look. This might be an indiviual problem, just how my body looks in this cincher, but I had to give it 3 stars, it just seems like they skimped on the elastic. dinka from CT

This item is fabulous! It gives me an instant flat stomach and smooth line under my wedding dress and it doesn't feel too constricting. Highly recommended!! Beth from Indianapolis, IN

Love it! This item is lighter weight and more comfortable than the Rago 21 but I love them both! Highly recommend both the Rago 21 and the Rago 821. I love this waist nipper. I have both this one and the Rago 821. I love them both but think the 21 is a little more comfortable than the 821. But I recommend both of them. Gives you curves that you don't really have! I really liked this -- I wore it beneath my bride'smaid's dress and it made me feel so much less insecure, especially about the bulge right below my breasts. The only thing I didn't like was that it was kind of short and didn't cover both my under-breast and belly pudge at the same time. Two more inches would have made it perfect, but maybe I have an unusually long torso, I'm not sure. It didn't roll or anything like that, but after about 5 hours, I was dying to get out of it. I'd never used waist cinchers before and have purchased several now due to a medical problem. The bright side is that the waste cincher not only supplies the needed support but really does smooth out your shape and looks great. The Rago 821 is superb and does all that the manufacturer claims. I have three and have two more on the way. It is comfortable, very firm, and looks great under your clothes. I would highly recommend this product. MAW from WV/USA

This garment works great and provides full coverage. I got in beige and it does not show through my clothes. I really appreciate the quality of construction and the powernet material is cool enough to wear all day. I wear a size 24-26 so the 7X fit me firmly. Because I am tall I probably could squeeze it down one size but I think I would be less comfortable. Hazel from Santa Cruz, CA

This holds in my mummy tummy and lets me wear dresses and not look pregnant - instant flat tummy - the boning really helps, nice and long. bought one in each color, wash after a few uses to keep it tight. postpartum from florida

This garment did not work for me, as i have a very defined waist, and the garment nipped in at the waist too much, instead of minimizing the surrounding areas. Since it cinched in my indented waist so much, the lower half of the garment inched up too much.

I finally got to actually wear the waist cincher on Easter Sunday, for a special event. And I must say, it was wonderful (both the event and the waist cincher). You could see it under the dress I wore, but once I pulled the ole trusty body shaper on, I looked pretty close to perfect. Worked out great! Dawn B. from Powder Springs, Ga/US

As of today, I haven't had to wear this item yet, but I will be this weekend. However, the 2 times I've tried it on, it's perfect and does exactly what I'd hoped it would do. I will be wearing it under a formal, fitted dress and it's gonna look GREAT! Glad I made the purchase. I'd purchased one size smaller, it fit, but was a little too much work to get into by myself :-). So I got one size larger and it's perfect. Dawn B. from Powder Springs, USA

Excellent product, very comfortable. Sizing is tricky though, after reading all the reviews and product sizing instructions I decided on an XL and I am keeping it but in hindsight I should have gotten one size smaller. I am planning on buying another in the next smaller size for days when I want that extra firmness. Jennifer from Northampton, MA

I expected it to be uncomfortable, but it is not one bit! you can see where it clips together in the front through your clothes though. I wanted it to cover my "muffin top" but after while it slides up. its fine if i keep pulling it down. other than that it really does cinch the waist. alexis from ut

Order a size smaller than you usually wear. The small nipper reduced my 31" waist and took 2 inches off, not bad. R from Chicago, IL USA

This is the bomb! It held in my upper tummy like no other undergarment I have ever worn. The only downside is the front closure showed under the dress I wore so I put another smoother all-in-one over it and it worked just fine. It was fairly comfortable; never rolled after a night of eating and dancing. JSM from West Orange, NJ

I recently just had a baby back in December 08 & was determined to find the right garment to help with reducing my stomach pouch after trying a few high-end name brand girdles & midsection stomach wraps, I found the Rago Waist Nipper by far to be the best fit ever, I was so amazed of the custom almost tailored fit to my petite body frame, that I ordered my sister one & we both like it so much, that I wish that I could be a spokeswomen for this product. The Rago Waist Cincher fits comfortable on the body, stays in place & it completely covers the whole mid-section of your body & a portion of the upper hip section. You can workout, wear it all day or sleep in it & it feels comfortable no matter what way you choose to wear it, I like it so much that I had to order me another one. However, I will say this, you have to wear the product everyday in order to get the results that you want, it really works, I notice significant results in just 2 1/2 weeks of wearing product everyday, it's amazing, once you wear it, you will never wear another of any kind. Pretty disappointed with the garment. It doesn't seem to "pull" everything in and creates a very strange shape, rather than creating the perfect hourglass shape it produces a weird set of curves which are bulging out from the sides. It's the smallest size available, so I can't go any smaller, but it didn't give me a flat belly and smooth curves. Evelyn from NYC

I received this item a few days ago and have worn it daily since. I absolutely love this shaper! It really holds one in (I lost between 2-4 inches with it), is very comfortable, and it can hardly be seen under clothes. I'm in good shape, but after having two kids my stomach muscles aren't the best. This garment gaves exactly the support I need. I'll definitely be buying more in the future. Rago is the best! I treated myself to a much needed Tummy Tuck. After wearing the hospital style abdominal binder I wanted something a little more glamorous, esp. on my new bod. I looked at the post-surgical garments, which were way too expensive. I purchased a few different styles. This one is the best, fits great, sung fit, accents my new curves, and best, doesn't roll. Very comfortable. I wear this 24/7. I'm buying more. Carol from Cape Coral, Florida, USA
