I like this item except for the crotch opening which seems to be anatomically impossible to use as it off centered. This girdle definitely sucks you in and you have to struggle to get on, but once in place it serves its purpose. Ahips from RVA

Man! this is a firm shaper!! I was looking for lace trim legs so my plush thighs didn't bulge over the edges, and this had that requirement, so I ordered it. The fabric is not soft at all, very stiff, but once on (get ready to tug), is OK. Did I say it was firm? Michelle from Santa Fe, NM, USA
