This is a most comfortable girdle. I would recommend it if you are looking for support to your back, as well as containing the runaway. :-) I especially appreciated the way in which I received the package from HerRoom. The material is terrible, it's a cheap nylon material. You literally can't breath with it on!!!!

I returned. I much preferred Rago's high waisted version. Why not work on your waist while you're at it, and the high waist is actually cute, if you are seen in it, too. Katherine R

Great product. I am lean and fairly muscular, but have an hourglass figure with muscular thighs and my trouble spot is the "saddle bag" area - these did the trick. I bought them in both small and medium so I could choose depending upon how much wanted to bring my silhouette in. They give a smooth shape and are well constructed. Not the most comfortable ever, but if you are looking for firm control, these will do it. If you want light control, use Spanx! Most shape wear targets waist/stomach or derriere (which these also control), but these areas are fine on me, so it was great to finally find something that worked on hips/thighs. It is basically a good girdle, but not for a short woman. Also, this style used to be made with a zipper, which made it much easier to put on. The fabric is not the same as it used to be. Ive been wearing this style for years because I like it, but it has always needed shortening the waist to crotch length. And I definitely miss the zipper. Jo from Nassau County, N.Y.

This garment rolls up ,I am disappointed in that , and I removed the stocking holders and can't return it ,so I will just have to deal with it .I want order it again.So far I have been very happy with all of my other purchases I guess you can't win them all.

I am a big girl, size 22-24 and this thing sucks it in and looks great and I feel comfortable in it. My only problem is the legs roll up, so while I would get this product again I would get the panty instead of long -leg

HerRoom Response: A good point. Legs rolling up usually means you need to go up a size. However, you could sacrifice support. IF the top fits, you might want to alter the garment by having the legs cut off, or a panel added to he inseam. KE-KE from pHILADELPHIA

I have purchased this item for years now. It is about the best thing out there for large women. Spanx don't really hold those of us who really need holding. This item is wonderful! It immediately draws you in, giving a sleeker, smoother appearance, and it brings you down a size or so as well! The garment was defective. It did not have garters I sent it back explaining it was missing the garters. The second one they sent is missing the garters. I wrote and they called me stating they would send a return label so I would not have to pay shipping again. It has been 9 days and I am still waiting for a return label to get my refund. I placed this order well over a month ago. The service has been terrible. When I sent the first one back, they said it would take 2 to 4 weeks to exchange. Then they refunded my money instead of exchanging. So I reordered, paid for shipping again, and once again received the item with out garters. So to review I have paid for shipping for the garment, to return the garment, and to ship another one and it still is wrong.

They did not think this was a big deal because most customers do not use the garters. You alerting us to this fact led us to contact Rago.
