The bra is not quite as soft in front where it closes. I think it would be a little better if the hook were closer to the bottom than it is perhaps. it just does not feel the same as the old 18 hour bras, BUT it is still the best bra I have ever found. Kathie from New Bern, NC US

I have been wearing the back hook version of this bra and decided to give the "front hook" 18 Hour Comfort Strap a try and I love it! Good support for my heavy breasts, excellent back support, and great comfort. Also it is very easy on put on with the front hooks. The wide padded straps are very comfortable and help give the bra great support. With the hooks in the front, my cloths fit much smoother in the back and look great! This in now my favorite everyday bra, I hope playtex adds a sytle with smooth seamless cups for T-shirts and other figure hugging tops. Mary from Mass

All I can say is... Wow. Being a larger-chested woman, I never thought that I'd be able to find a nice, soft-cup bra that would provide me with the support I need. While it may not be the sexiest undergarment I've ever worn, this bra meets all of my support requirements in addition to being super comfy.

This is the first front-clasping bra I have ever worn. Initially, it was a little awkward putting it on, but now that I'm used to it, I really love the ease of the front-clasping. The flexible panel in the back is really nice--not only does it move with me throughout the day, but it provides a really smooth look underneath clothing. With this bra, I have none of those yucky bulges I get with other bras, which is pretty great.

There are some minor complaints, however. The seam on the bra's cups aren't all that obvious, but I do wish they would offer a seamless option in this style. Also, for short people like me, this bra can be a little bit overwhelming. It's one seriously big bra, so be prepared for that. I also wish that the little plastic hoops in the back were located on another part of the bra's strap, rather than on the top part of the strap. Sometimes the hoops dig into my shoulders a little, but when I adjusted the straps a little, the problem got much better.

Ok, so this isn't the most stylish or sexy bra out there. If you wear a lot of deep v-necks, you may not get a lot of use out of this style. However, if you're like me and mostly stick to scoop necks and mid-range v-necks, you should be ok. The price is awesome, the comfort is great, and the support is really unbeatable. The shaping is not bad, either. After reading some of these reviews, I was afraid that my breasts would look like a pair of torpedoes or something, but that is not the case. It is a little pointier than I'm used to (I tended to gravitate toward more rounding bras) but nothing out of the ordinary or weird-looking. Rose from Indianapolis, IN

feels good when I first put it on, very supportive, but starts to feel very tight quite quickly, also the straps pinch badly, I can barely wear it 8 hours, never mind 18. I may try a larger size in this brand, it may help. Karla from Delta, Co, USA

The 18 hour playtex bra size 46DDD was disappointing. The materail was irratating and there was too much material under the bust. The support was good, but as I stated so much materail does not need to be added due to larger bust sizes. Tonnie from Mississippi

In the past year I have tried on just about every bra in my size out there and this is the best by far. Excellent support and the straps do not dig in. I love the front closure but I did have to order three different band/cup sizes to figure out which fit best since there is no adjustment with one row of hooks but it was worth the time, effort and shipping. The bottom hook does dig in but I took the advice of another reviewer and unhook the bottom one if it bothers me. I would like to see fewer hooks on the front. This bra is really good. It holds everything in for a long time and there's a ton of support! It fits great, but the only thing i would change is the fact that the cups are kind of pointy which was different for me. otherwise GREAT! aubrey from California

Great Bra! I brought it for work and it's really comfortable and has good support. The cup size felt a little too big since I normally wear this size in other brands with no problem. I have been using this style of bra for about 2 years and I love it! It supports my upper back better than any I've used. The shoulder straps are padded and strong. The bra doesn't move around like others - it stays in place. I recently bought a "supply" from you because I'm having rotator cuff surgery in Nov. and I knew this style would be easier to use. This is the most comfortable bra I have ever had. I am on the short side, and found that this bra feels most comfortable with the bottom hook undone. This is a high quality bra and I'm very happy with it. I like the stretch the back gives. Nice padding in shoulders without being bulky. Be aware that if you have a short torso, the bra might be a little bulky since it's so "tall". Also, make sure you get the size right since there is only one set of hooks. Wendy from Bowie/TX/USA

I love a good bra. I am very pleased with this buy. The only draw-back however is a personal one because I am short, with most of my braziers I have to stitch the straps for a bit more lift.
