This bra does what you want. Certainly makes 'em perky. Unfortunately, however the wires under the arms stick into my arms so much that I have to raise them to avoid being reminded how much the cup over floweth. Perfectly nice bra but wanted to mention to others that the fit seems generous. I'm 5'8", weigh 200-220 lbs. Most of my bras are Olga and Olga's Christina but I also have a few Breezies styles from TV, all in 44D. I bought the Playtex 4419 along with a Playtex 4718. The notes on the latter advised to size down, so I did, but bought this style in my usual size. When I tried on the 4419 today, I had to use the tightest closure and there was still extra room in both the band and cup. Meanwhile, the 4718 in 44C fit perfectly. I actually tried both the 42DD and 44DD. The 42DD was way too tight. The material puckered between the two layers, and, although, the nipples weren't prominent, my husband thought the puckers were my nipples making an appearance and thought that I should wear a sweater. There wasn't a lot of side support on the band. I am surprised that the material was slightly less scratchy than I've found with most Playtex bras. Anon from Spokane
