Playtex Side Smoothing Full Figure Underwire Plunge Bra 4139 Reviews

I have been searching for a bra that really fits for the past year. The cup size of the Playtex Side Smoothing bra are perfect, however the bra doesn't give me the forward uplift that I want. This bra has more of a minimizier affect, that I'd rather not have. I like the molded cup, it gives a little extra support that I like. Overall I think it is a good bra. This bra ran a little small in both cup and chest. I ordered up a size, the fit and comfort is great! Nothing poking or uncomfortable. I could wear it all day. And what fun patterns and colors! MM in MT from MT

I have a very short body ...so I always have issues with the underwire poking me in the underarms. This bra doesn't do that. which to wear for a long time is very comfortable. Kim from Pittsburgh, Pa. USA

Side smoothing? Don't think so. It's way, way too low on the sides to smooth anything,..as a matter of fact,.it made my sides look worse. and it also made my breasts look bigger,.which I don't need,.because the cups are lined,.almost looking molded to me. It's been my experience that Playtex has zero common sense when making bra's and this will be the last one I buy from Playtex. Mary from Chicago IL

I don't know why I bother w/Playtex. I have yet to find one that actually fits or is comfortable. Their sizes vary from bra to bra. This bra, to my surprise, has molded like or "padded" cups. there is no 42DD that needs any type of extra padding,...anywhere. It made my breast look like DDD's. And the fit was bad. As always w/Playtex. I've been searching for a low plunge or demi cup bra,.but for some reason I can only find molded, heavily lined, over laced, overly structured, uncomfortable ones. Oh to find one simple, seamless low cut bra or demi bra....they don't make them in 42DD apparently. MARY from CHICAGO, IL

I am extremely picky when it comes to bras. This bra lifts and separates perfectly, (but doesn't push you out to the sides in a strange fashion), has a perfect uplifted profile without being too round or too pointy, perfect plunge and straps that crisscross so you can wear it with anything (no different bras for every outfit), great colors, and the straps aren't super wide and ugly. First bra I've owned that feels true to size. The cup does not runneth over, and I do not runneth over the cup. The sides stay put for most of the day but as the fabric stretches with the day's movements, by the end of the day there is a slight roll on the sides. Of course, I wear a larger bra because I'm a larger gal with the dreaded back fat in some places. This is the first bra that really helps control that and still be cute at the same time....no extreme double turkey carrying, 7-hook bras for me! I bought the leopard print and love it!
