Band is a little tight (other brands fit fine at size 38) and underwires chafe a bit under breasts. Not my favorite.

Playtex Response: Sorry the size did not work for you. If you have adjusted the hook area to the first set of hook and eyes and it is still too tight then we would suggest doing a proper bra fitting. Hannah

I LOVE THIS BRA!!! It has been a long time since I have even considered trying on, much less purchasing a bra from Playtex. I was a "Bra Snob"! My friend who was also a "Bra Snob" (we USED to buy only very expensive bras) turned me (and all the women in her family) onto this Playtex Bra. She now, also buys Playtex Nursing Bras. This product did not deserve even one star. It did not fit a size B cup breasts. Even with a C cup the bra was still too large. This site is for women to find lingerie that fit them not be humiliated to find their breasts can't fill a bra labeled B. I have several other B cups bras from different manufactures which all fit. Also it is not an attractive bra, it says don’t touch me! It didn’t do much for side smoothing either. I was shocked to order this big of bra. I couldn't believe how well it fits and how well it supports. Does make me look bigger with some clothes so be sure to try different clothes on when you are trying on the bra. The cup material is dimpling after only two wears and I have not washed it. I can still wear it but I hope it doesn't disappoint me. Side support does get uncomfortable sometimes, but for this price, I will take it. If it holds up, I will gladly reorder in different colors. I like the back and side control of this bra but unfortunately, the separation in front is too great and it made my breasts spread outward rather than forward, which is what I prefer. Diane from Seattle,WA USA

I had lost weight and was moving down a bra size from 38B to 36C. I ordered three bras of different styles, all with modest cups and underwires; the other two were Vanity Fair. They all fitted well, but I had boxed this one ready to return when I happened to read the reviews on it again. I tried on the bra again, thinking more in terms of a firm, supportive bra for some of my activities rather than an everyday bra. The sides are firmer than in most bras and although I do not particularly need this feature, I have come to enjoy the firm feel (like a beautifully fitting sports bra that looks classy under a fashion tee-shirt). It's getting to be the favorite of the three, although the others are a little prettier. Thanks to HerRoom for the sizing information that has helped me transition down in size without endless returns as I lost weight. CARN from SD, CA

i have fallen in love with this bra. i am 25 years old and have to wear a 38ddd. i have not been able to find a bra that fits at a decent price ever. i was wearing one that was too small with a sports bra over it just to save money. i will definitely be shopping here again. thank you amber from mansfield

This bra does an amazing job of support and smoothing the sides, my particular problem spot. Being short-waisted, I need good lift, which this bra does comfortably. The material on the sides took a little getting used to, as it doesn't stretch like most bras, and I needed a size larger band than I usually wear. Mary T from Durham, NC, US

Best bra ever! It's insanely difficult for me to find a good-fitting, comfortable, and flattering bra, but somehow it's all here. Playtex really hits it out of the park with this one, and it's even low-priced. The fit feels true to size (for me) and the cups give a natural-looking shape as well as good separation. The straps are really comfy and I don't get that strained feeling in my shoulders that I've gotten from other bras, despite the fact that these straps are slim enough not to be obtrusive under most outfits. The underwire doesn't dig into me at all (which is definitely a wonderful change) and yet the support on this bra is amazing. And it's seamless! I really can't ask for anything more. As far as I'm concerned, this bra is total perfection. Buy ten! The price (as well as the support, comfort, and fit) are certainly right. Rose from Indianapolis, IN

The underwire is comfortable (where normally it isn't for me) and gives good separation. Unfortunately for me, the result of the separation is that my large breasts on my proportionally small frame look wider as they extend slightly past my sides. Marisol from Bound Brook, NJ USA
