Changes in fashion often call for a change in lingerie styles, too. A popular example is the low-rise panty. With waists moving lower and lower on jeans, trousers even skirts, we need panties that won't peek out above the waistline. Low-rise panties are the answer. The rise is the measurement from crotch to waist and a low rise in women's lingerie can be as small as 3-4". Panties like this sit very low on the hip, invisible under your low-rise jeans. They usually have moderate rear coverage, although that varies with style.

This style is not just for the skinniest of us--low-rise panties are surprisingly flattering and, in soft stretchy materials, will be conformable on most body types. Style isn't limited, either. You'll find bikinis, hipsters, boyshorts and thongs with low-rises. Some HerRoom customers love the feel and fit of sleek, smooth microfiber, which is like wearing almost nothing at all. Others prefer playful, sexy styles in stretch lace or embellished with lacy scallops, satin ribbons and bows. If you haven't yet tried a thong, give it a whirl. Many women find them extremely comfortable and love the complete lack of panty lines. With fashion always in flux, it's a good idea to stock up on some low-rise panties in various styles. They'll have you covered (so to speak) with whatever you choose to wear.
