The bra is very pretty, but the underwire dug into my chest (between my breasts) enough to leave a mark when only trying it on. I purchased two different sizes, but neither fit comfortably, though the cup size was accurate. Michelle from Cleveland, OH

I was excited to find such a pretty bra with good support in my size but I must agree with the other comments regarding the wires poking! OUCH!! I quickly resolved the problem by purchasing moleskin. I placed the moleskin on the wires that were poking me (especially the side wires poking me near my armpits)and what a difference it made. It may take away from the the prettiness of the bra but I am at the age where comfort comes first! Mary from Conroe ,TX USA

The bra was a perfect fit, I finally got a cup that covered everything without looking sloppy but....the side wires dug into my underarms. I had read the reviews before hand and thought that it wouldn't be a problem for me, but guess again, it sure was. I couldn't even bend over without getting stabbed. You would think that the manufacturer would have someone look into this since they have such a nice bra. I am diappointedly in the process of returning the one I bought. But the website was very good and I will probably try another one. Loved the size chart, finally someone who knows. Kathy from Long Island, NY, USA

I was pleasantly surprised with this bra. It is very comfortable and supportive. The surprising part is how much support you get with such light fabric. I was guessing at my size and it fits perfectly. I usually order a 36G in teh Le Mystere bra. I would recommend this bra to others. Betty from Moscow, ID

I purchased this bra on another website in a smaller size (had to put in an extender in the back) and was thrilled to see it in the larger sizes. However, this version of the bra was not equal to the first one I purchased. Who puts a back with one or two hooks on a bra made for someone with D+ breasts? The whole bra was hanging by the shoulder straps because there wasn't enough material to support it around the torso. The straps on this bra were also smaller than the previous one I purchased, and the cups were very large which was a surprise. I returned this bra and will go back to wearing the old one which has three hooks, a wider band, and wider straps (even though it means wearing the band extender. Lisa from Baltimore MD

Love the style and fit, but this bra does not hold up. I bought this bra at a local shop and the underwire pushed out of the bra under the armpits on both sides after only wearing it a few times. I returned the bra and they said it was their fault because they fitted me wrong the first time. They redid the fitting, but they didn't have the right size in stock so I bought it online from HerRoom. I now have a new bra that did the same thing after wearing it only a few times also. I guess I will have to go back to buying cheap bras again. They seem to last longer and even if they didn't I wouldn't feel as bad about it as I do spending this much money on a bra that barely lasts a week!

HerRoom Response: When underwires come out of a bra as you describe, this is usually a sign that your band is too large. It sounds like you might be a 30 band size. Kim from South Carolina

I was a little leery at first because of the LOW price. I had paid much higher for the same bra at a store in NYC. The bra was wonderful...I ordered two and will be ordering more. You have a very pleased new customer. I have already spread the word. Michelle from Ridgewood, NY

I just love this bra. I was one of those women wearing the wrong size for years and constantly battling my bras. After being fitted properly, this is the first bra I have ever owned that actually fits comfortably all day long. My clothes fit better and it is a great natural shape. The sides do ride a little high and being on the shorter side (not quite 5'4") after 12 hours or so, it can get a little uncomfortable but I can get at least 12 hours out of a bra! My only other wish is that they would make it in a smooth fabric too for under t-shirts and clingier materials (still on the hunt for that bra!). I now own this bra in three colors! I am so glad HerRoom is here for those of us who can't buy "off the rack"! I'll be a customer for a long time! L from St. Charles, MO

I originally bought this in a 38K, which I had been measured for in a boutique. I found the cup a little to big, but was otherwise comfortable and pretty. I decided to size down half a cup and find the 38JJ a perfect fit. The only reservation I have is in the straps. I've got mine adjusted to the shortest possible length and it is just right. Someone who is shorter than 5'6" or has a short torso may not get a good fit. J from Fairfax, VA, USA

I've been wearing this bra for a couple of years now, and I wish I had found it 20 years ago! I have to say something to the people who keep mentioning the underarm discomfort: Consider that you might be wearing the wrong size. Draw lines from your armpit down your sides (I did it just now, with my thumbs). The underwires and stays on this bra should be PAST that imaginary line, BEYOND your armpits. ALL breast tissue, including the underarm breast tissue, should be enclosed by that wire. I think that's the problem you're having. I have encountered this same discomfort problem myself--particularly when I've gained weight. My weight has fluctuated some, so I have several sizes of this bra in my drawer--32H, 32HH, 34H, 32J, 34J. I wouldn't trade this bra for any other on the market, though I have quite a few, that sit, most of them unworn. Fantasie's Smoothing line is great for shaping and a better, more upfront projection than the Tango II, but only goes to a G-cup (when I was thinner I'd wear a 34G & it worked great for when I care more about seamless than I did about bounce!). Freya, nowhere near as supportive, La Mystere is a joke, Chantelle too small . . . when you're an H-cup or above, NONE of the others can beat Panache's Tango II for fit, support, shaping--and just plain making one look better in clothes! Actually, I've already commented on this bra, but I wanted to address some of the HerRoom comments back to the comments. While I LOVE that HerRoom is obviously listening to us as customers, some of the comments come off as basically saying that the women are too short or too misshapen to wear that particular bra. If several reviewers are saying that the bra hurts under the arms, maybe you should consider that the bra really does hurt under the arms, or make a "petite" version for shorter women. The way you're responding, it looks (a tad) like you're blaming the women for being short. I'm 5'5" and have a regular, even longish torso, and I had the same problem. K from Houston, TX

This is a BEAUTIFUL bra; I'm just not that happy with the fit. It seems to scratch a little under the arms and it separates the boobs almost TOO much, to where they look like they are bulging outside of my frame. I love the way the material clings to the breast area in front; it's just the way the arms are that I don't like. I have had this problem with other bras, too, though, so it may just be the way I'm built. K from Houston, TX

This is a great bra! I starting wearing this brand bra two years ago and it works wonders. It gives me better support and looks good underneath my clothing. I wish the style came in more colors except the basics, but it works!!!!! Kelly from Lithonia, GA

Yet another bra that would benefit by stating the size the model is wearing. This bra was at least a cup size too small. It just barely covered my nipples, whereas this picture shows the horizontal seam at the apex. It seemed like it would be sturdy and supportive in the right size. Wish I could have had the same experience as in most of these great reviews.

HerRoom Response: Jessica, you have left two reviews on our site with both stating you should have gone up a size. Both bras fit true to size that you reviewed. We think you need to consider a larger cup size. Jessica from Portland, OR, USA

I was very excited to get this bra after reading the positive comments. I was very disappointed when I received the item. It was not supportive at all for a bra constructed for a 40I with only 2 or 3 hooks and very thin shoulder straps. Unfortunately, I had to send the bra back. Kris from Small town south of Dallas, TX

It's pretty and it fits, but it gives my breasts a very strange spherical shape, the top edge of the cup pokes out under my shirt, and the underwires poke painfully into my armpit and into my ribs. I'll be returning it. Elizabeth

Love this bra. For my size it has THE BEST support. I've been wearing this bra for quite a while, they seem to hold up well and last much longer than others. The underwire can be a bit irritating underneath the arms. Straps don't always stay up. Underwire fits snugly on my breast bone, doesn't stick out and show through my clothes. I'd love to see it offered in more than nude, white & black. Tammy

This is the best fittng bra I have owned in years! Very supportive without being pointy. The wire sits against my sternum like it's supposed to. There is no spillage over the top of the cups...Wow!!! I love Panache bras. The under arm stays are too high but it's a small price to pay. In the past I have always purchased a larger band size to get the fuller cup because I could not find the cup/band combo that I needed. After researching on this site, I realized that this poor fit contributed to the underwire pop that happened to me all the time. Thanks HerRoom for the info. Thanks Panache for making a bra in my size. Freda from US

For me, I didn't like the shape of the bra. I'm very full chested--my breasts start high above the chest apex instead of sticking out, so I couldn't fill out the 30E but a 30DD had bulging at the top. Tracy from Michigan

It fits well, but the stays are a little long under the armpits, thus making it a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, I like the bar very much. If that one feature is correctable, I would gladly buy more. Shirley from Capitol Heights/MD/USA

The cup fit on this bra is great and it supports well, however the stays underarm are a bit long, and tend to poke and be slightly uncomfortable. It is the best support bra I have ever owned. Mary from Nashville, IN, USA
