The gown itself is beautiful pima cotton, but it is sewn with synthetic thread which means I have to tear it all apart and sew it all over again!!!!! The write up on the gown should have stated it was sewn with synthetic thread. I would not have purchased it if I had known. It should be sewn with cotton thread! I did the match test and the tread melted! Also I was able to obtain the thread because it had pulled it several areas and was not too well sewn! Sigrid from Canada

I love this gown! The classic style is ageless and it's deliciously comfy. It is beautifully made, with attention to cut and seams I have only seen in more costly sleepwear. The first time I wore it, my teenage daughter said, "Wow Mom, I love your nightgown!" She now wants one. Imagine that! My P Jama Butterknits are the best I've ever owned. The quality of the fabric is outstanding - so supple and soft. I did not even wash it before wearing. I mistakenly pushed the wrong button and ordered Yellow instead of White. I wanted white. When I immediately fired off an email to correct my mistake, it seemed too late. My order had been whisked to the distribution center. I now have a yellow gown, but wish it were white. Of course, I could send the gown back. That is a nuisance, since I am busy re-locating my husband in a retirement community and preparing the house for sale. The quality of your merchandise is excellent, but I wish I were worrying about my life in white! This particular gown is the second of the style and color I have ordered from you. It is comfortable, cute, and totally indestructible...even with repeated bleaching and laundering.

love this gown, which is why i ordered two more after having already having owned two of the gowns. I found the sizing to be a little larger in this batch than the originals and think I could have used a large instead of an XL. But the material is wonderful, the overall fit great.
